Yes i agree to some extent as we interpreted the quesition in differnt way .
Just your post said that you can generate javascript dynamically yes very true but you can't close that pop up window from server side (code behind) as your script will run at client side you just registering it,not calling.
It is going to execute at client side only
Thanks and Regards

U can write down the script in codebehind
like
Response.write("");
Response.write("window.close();");
Response.write("");
Check out this code..

iam using iframe as design mode =true .so now its working as a text box .now i want the text that was selected in the iframe with mouse hilighted.into a variable string.

I believe this can be done with js on the client. It can't be done to the server, you can instead do it on the client and store the text in a hidden field or something.

send an example with source code for creating a membership role manager in c#
Find it in 4guysfromrolla.com or from microsoft website. It is not possible for a dude who is on work to really send you the code(It is your job to do so do it). If you have any troubles with it then definitely you can approach forum.

is it possible to allow membership roles on our sql server database .in the example the membership roles are provided using aspnet sql server provider
do you mean roles for Sql Server accessing or for ASP.NET application.
We can provide roles on both Sql Server for accessing as well as for ASP.NET application.
But ASP.NET application roles cannot become sql server roles.

I think you're looking for dice. IF you pay people, you can order them around and ask for full code samples. Asking for free help doesn't work that way

Sounds like the user your web application is running under is not privileged enough to work with services.
Were you running as a local administrator on your development machine by any chance?
the user is not administrator but belongs to the administrator group and the user is a domain user

Are you sure that you are correctly impersonating this user?

hello
how can i use the dialog box controls that we use in windows applications such as colordialog,savefiledialog etc. in a web form.Pls giv me an answer.

You cannot use window specific controls on web. Still if you need create ActiveX controls/Applets and embedded them into web pages.

WHY ? Where do you write this code ? How the event fires ? This will work if both the buttons are attached to same event.
If you have multiple event and use single method base on that event then it will be used.
like as gridview's RowCommand event
