You have asked this queston three times now. Are you hoping for the answers to change ?
Why don't you want to use controls ? There is NO way to control where response.write will output. As you've been told several times....

What's not working ? Using a literal or something to position the text ? What do you mean by 'not working' ? The right approach here is to say 'here's my code, here's what's going on, how do I make it do this ?'. The wrong approach is to assume because your first attempt to do something the right way didn't work, you need to post daily until someone invents a way to do something that the framework does not support.

well said. I too was surprised to see such a question.

Response.write writes the text from top of the page...i think u can't set the position of the output using Response.write...Try setting the 'padding' style for and then place your text in the inside a table...

method 1 :
copy your folder and put into c:\inetpub\wwwroot\ this folder.and goto folder properties.There web sharing folder will be there. Give all permissions which are unchecked.this means that you are creating virtual server for that.
then it may work fine.
method 2 :
goto control panel ->adminstrative tools ->Internet Information services
here you can see you folder ... right click your folder and in that u create a virtual directory for your folder.then it will work.
known is a drop but unknown is an ocean.

|
|
|
|
Create a virtual Directory for your application in the web server and Copy all the relevant files that is needed to run the application to the virtual directory. it's done.

The application pool that your website is running under is configured to shut down if a particular threshold of unhandled exceptions is reached within a particular time period. Check the event log to see their details. You can change the error threshold if required through IIS, but your time is probably better spent identifying and fixing the bugs in your application code that are causing the exceptions.

hi friends
how to close the popup window from codebehind in .net
regards
saravan
Known Is Drop.Unknown Is Ocean

Page.ClientScript.RegisterClientScriptBlock(
this.GetType()
,"ClosePopupScript"
,"window.close()"
,true);
From the popup window page's code-behind.

i think not possible as the pop window will come at the client side.
Server does not know anything about the pop up window
you need to do it client side and write a javascript for that

I think It's possible. Even if it's a pop-up window the page will run at the server-side. At the server-side there are way's to build javascript dynamically in the CodeBehind using
ClientScript.RegisterStartupScript,<br />
ClientScript.RegisterClientScriptInclude .

Yes i agree to some extent as we interpreted the quesition in differnt way .
Just your post said that you can generate javascript dynamically yes very true but you can't close that pop up window from server side (code behind) as your script will run at client side you just registering it,not calling.
It is going to execute at client side only

U can write down the script in codebehind
like
Response.write("");
Response.write("window.close();");
Response.write("");
Check out this code..

iam using iframe as design mode =true .so now its working as a text box .now i want the text that was selected in the iframe with mouse hilighted.into a variable string.

I believe this can be done with js on the client. It can't be done to the server, you can instead do it on the client and store the text in a hidden field or something.

Find it in 4guysfromrolla.com or from microsoft website. It is not possible for a dude who is on work to really send you the code(It is your job to do so do it). If you have any troubles with it then definitely you can approach forum.
