Why are you return false here?
|
|
|
|

Just to keep window active. else it will be closed.

When you click Ok then it return true.so you can run your code in code behind file and after that the form will be close.
if you have one button to close the window then you can write your code on that button event.it will run on Ok event of message.
Note: if you want to close the parent page then browser also fires one confirm message

Change your select to:
select dtlastupdated,dblvalue from dbo.tblPerodicTickerData where dtDateTime between '2007-03-28 11:35:09.000' And '2007-04-09 11:40:05.000'
And I think it will work.
There is no = between and I removed the a.m and put quotes around the datetime values.
Hope that helps.

call same event for all buttons and get clicked button id in the textbox.
for example
protected void calendar_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
TextBox1.Text=((Button)Sender)).Text
}

To consume events defined in another class, you must define and register an event handler. The event handler must have the same method signature as the delegate declared for the event. You register your event handler by adding the handler to the event. After you have added your event handler to the event, the method is called whenever the class raises the event.

The ASP.NET configuration API allows you to develop, deploy, and manage application configuration data by using a single programming interface. Using the configuration API, you can develop and modify complete ASP.NET configurations programmatically without directly editing the XML in the configuration files. In addition, you can use the configuration API in console applications and scripts that you develop, in Web-based management tools, and in MMC snap-ins.

Satips, if you're going to cut'n'paste, at least paste something decent.

Hi,
In Window.Open() function, i'm confused with the usage of "../" and "./".
ex: When I give Window.Open("./popup.aspx") and
Window.Open("popup.aspx") the result is same. But if i put the "popup.aspx" form outside the project (project path is D:\Projects\TestP, TestP is the Project folder), i.e. in "D:\Projects" folder and call Window.Open("../popup.aspx"), its giving error.
Error is:
The resource cannot be found.
Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly.
Requested Url: /pop.aspx
Could someone please tell me the usage of "../" and "./" and "/"

Manoj

.. means it will come out of the directory where your current page resides. Assume your page is in Pages folder, and you have another directory say images outside of pages directory, refering ../images from a page in pages directory will point to images directory.

Website root is the starting directory. In local machine it's wwwroot directory in inetpub .
Directory Representation
wwwroot /(Website root)
wwwroot -> images /images
wwwroot -> images -> sample.gif /images/sample.gif
wwwroot -> images -> Buttons -> sample.gif /images/sample.gif or ../images/sample.gif (from a page which resides in another directory in website root)
hope it makes sense
