Your config file can read an external XML file, and I believe if you do that, you can edit the external file from code.

Editing config files on runtime is not a good idea. It reloads the entire application domain. So you may loose session and other values. You can keep an external XML file for storing configuration instead of using Web.config. Then update this file using XML manipulation classes provided.

I have my application in donet 1.1
.My Live server have 2.0 frame work.I want to open popup page on click
I am using
Attributes.Add("OnClick", "javascript:window.open('pagename.aspx')");
It works in 1.1 but Popup does not appear in 2.0 . please give me any suggestion why its happen

also i ahve some page in which it gives parsing error .

when i serch for the error in google it gives us that there is some control whose id match whith 2.0 tool box control how to avoid this issue whithout renaming my components id.

That's kind of like saying 'I want to drive a car without using petrol.'. The answer is no. All client side code is javascript unless you use VBSCript, which is IE only. Nothing happens on the client without Javascript.

I really don't understand when people say 'I want to do X, but I don't want to use Y', where Y is the right way to do X. Why would you want to do something but not in the right way ?

There most definately is not. No one is going to impliment any other solution, were they to bother, they'd go with the standard one ( javascript ).

At a minimum, they should support the noscript tag, you could use that to redirect to a modified version that knows it doesn't have js support.

dsSave is Dataset.
FA_ASSET_DEP is table
BASE_AMT is the column to be converted to DEP_AMT

You can convert column name in your query string.

for example

"select BASE_AMT as DEP_AMT from FA_ASSET_DEP"

This is also a good way if you dont want to change your column name while retrieving.

Hi my dear friends.

I want to write a text on an image and then save it to my server hard disk.
then I could get help from this article but my question is how can I save the Graphics object into a image or bitmap and save it on my hard disk ?
the code is :

Send FileStream, instead of Response.OutputStream to b.Save(...) method.
