Hi:
I Mujahid Hussain Awan,I am a software Developer,I have a problem in Crystal Report.First I was working in Visual Studio 2003(C#).I built many crystal reports using DataSet method,and the Procedure was so simple.First I add Dataset and then add new element and give all it's attributes,and Datatype of all these attribute.then In Frontend at C# I add new crystal report then I select Blank Report,then I open Field Explorer Window right Click on Database Fields then I select Database Expert,a Database window Express Opens then I select Project Data and then I select ADO.net DataSet a Dataset with the same I created above apears,then I open it and Drag & Drop each Fields in Crystal Report's Detail Section.and then I Open a Form I initialize Dataset and Crystal report and write quer in Adapter then I Fill DataSet and set DataSorce Property of Report Object.and set ReportSource property of Crystal report Viewer and run Project and Record displays in Crystal Report. This is the Procedure of Crystal Report in Visual Studio 2003.
But When I do all these in Visual Studio with same Procedure but no Record Displays in Crystal Report.Can any body Help me How can I do all this in Visual Studio 2005.

The procedure your telling here is all fine.
when ur done with making the crystal report you need to populate the table on which ur making ur crystal report from ur application. Remember that it doesnt populate by itself. when u populate that table you do need to write 1-2 lines of code that are not in my mind right now. I remember I got goin by searching a few articles on CP
http://www.codeproject.com/useritems/CrystalReportDevlopment.asp
http://www.codeproject.com/csharp/crystalreportaccesscs.asp
Hope it helps! try searchin in detail on CP I'm sure you'll get ur answer

Well, you could write an NDIS driver and manually modifiy the packet as it goes through the network card. However, you can't do that in C# and you would never get a response because the reply would go to what ever machine was at your fake IP address (if it exists).

This is quite interresting because I am currently writing a packet capture application which can disassemble network data from the ethernet frame level.
As far as i know, hiding your IP address is impossible, however you could try using WinPCap to write a custom ethernet frame encapsulating an IP packet.
I dont know the intricacies of networks particularly well, but providing you keep your adapters MAC address the same when you send an ethernet frame, you may get a response when hiding your IP address because the responding maching may send back to your MAC address rather than IP address....i dont know but it's something to think about.
You could also use WinPCap to write a Windows Service to check for incomming requests which check your IP address and respond to these requests by replying your fake IP address, however you would have to write this very specifically it it was to be used for a specific application / web site / web service...think about the following example, which i havent coded in a proper language to make it easy to understand the concepts:
if (request_for_ip from specific_web_service)
{
Write custom frame with real MAC address and fake IP
}
else
{
Send default frame with real IP
}
try looking at the following sites
http://www.winpcap.org/[^]
http://network.programming-in.net/[^]
The network programming in .NET book is excellent and very useful for network programmers
Hope this helps!

You can always spoof the IP address but what about your MAC address (not an address used by apple macs).
If you really want to hack into a system try and look at www.hackthisite.org which offers ethical (remember this special word: ETHICAL) training for hacking.
Th funny thing about IP addresses is that you post here is not lodged with your current IP address which can be traced to your ISP and you.

Get a Proxy server. Download Tor/Privoxy bundle and then you will be set.

Are you sure that is what you meant? Did you really mean "How do I access websites anonymously"?
Using "anonymous" as an adjective to websites indicates that the website itself is anonymous (being referred to by IP rather than a name, perhaps). Using "anonymously" as an adverb to access indicates that the person performing the action is anonymous.

From his previous post it looks as if he wants to use some kind of proxy to hide his IP address. I'm very much not inclined to help him

I'm quite certain, that if you actually look at some of the articles on this website, you will find an example project, with descriptions and other useful information.
And if you can't find an article here, you can use a search engine to find what your looking for.
Sorry if i seem a little mean, but thems the breaks.

You mean send a value to a port? Through a port? What kind of port?
Port as in the drink? Port as in left? Port as in the kind of place where things go in and out of a country?

how to send a value in remote server using tcp port or socket programming
|
|
|
|
|
Well, you make a connection to the other machine by use of IP and port number. For example, on the server side you could wait for a connection, and then send out some data:
TcpListener listener = new TcpListener(IPAddress.Any, 1234);
Socket mySocket = listener.AcceptSocket();
byte[] data = {0x5};
mySocket.Send(data);
And the client side would make a connection, and then wait for some data:
Socket mySocket = new Socket(AddressFamily.InterNetwork, SocketType.Stream, ProtocolType.Tcp);
mySocket.Connect(IPAdress.Parse("192.168.1.1"), 1234);
byte[] buffer = new byte[1024];
int dataLength = mySocket.Receive(buffer);
You can of course use the mighty powers of google to find what your looking for, or type 'socket' into the search bar up there.

Hi,
you can encrypt yr URL and decrypt it at the time of opening the page.
Thanks,

You can't do this on your machine alone, in order to send anything back to you, your computer must provide its IP address. What you need to do is to run your communications through an HHTP proxy. The proxy will have your real IP to send the page to you, the server you're visiting will only have the proxy's IP. If you're really concerned, use TOR which will bounce your request through a series of semi-randomly selected proxies world wide before actually requesting anything from the destination server. IIRC TOR is OSS so you can examine its source code if you feel compelled to reinvent the wheel.
