Hi,
Anybody knows how to display english characters to hindi charactres?
If has any source code to do it will be ok.
Suppose the word is "do sal" it should be viewable as दो साल in hindi.

Hi there,
I am creating a syntax highlighter in C#. I need to get text from a richtextbox and after clicking on a button, need to put the colorized text in another richtextbox.
All I need is the simplest program for
1. multi-line comment (E.g.: /*My Comment*/)
(in green color),
2. single line comment (E.g.: //My Comment)
(in green color),
3. and a specific keyword called 'Item' (in blue color).
Note that use if Regex is mandatory.
Please Note: No custom controls such as the SyntaxRichTextBox should be used.
I have been trying my hand on this since the past 3 days. Currently the problem is as follows:
Suppose on one given line there is a comment as well as normal text as well as a keyword. So the text that is displayed in the second richtextbox has a line with the comment highlighted in green, then on the second line the same line is repeated with the keyword highlighted in blue.
E.g: The text in the first richtextbox is as follows
string item = "some string"; //Some Comment
Here string is a keyword to be displayed in "blue" and
//Some Comment sould be in Green
So the second richtextbox displays this string as follows
string item = "some string"; //Some Comment(in green)
string(in blue) item = "some string"; //Some Comment
whereas it should have displayed
string(in blue) item = "some string"; //Some Comment(in green)

HELLLLLPPPPPPP
Do not use words like these. These are considered very rude in discussion forums. I would suggest you could review http://www.codeproject.com/scrapbook/forumguidelines.asp[^].

No, you need to write your own form

"also I don't think "TranslateOneToTwoBillion OneHundredAndFortySevenMillion FourHundredAndEightyThreeThousand SixHundredAndFortySeven()" is a very good choice for a function name" - SpacixOne ( offering help to someone who really needed it ) ( spaces added for the benefit of people running at < 1280x1024 )

How to implement the data that is read from RFID tag into our C#.net application?what is the system code for this purpose?

No matter what games I play with its properties, ToolstripLabel doesn't seem to want to display its .Text unless the control is wide enough to accomodate the entire string.
It's probably me, but I'm hungry, tired and cold (serve me right for moving north) and only have the turkey feasted CP community to turn to. A nudge in the right direction ("south" is not a good answer) would be much appreciated.
Thanks,

Are you trying to set the .Text from Code or Designer? I think the width of ToolstripLabel automatically increased depend on your text..

I'm setting its text from code. The control's width can be dynamic or fixed depending on its AutoSize property. However, its width is upper bounded by the parent toolstrip's width. All this makes sense.
What doesn't make sense (to me) is why the control isn't able to render the portion of the text that lies within the control's current width, like a vanilla Label control.

Wouldn't it support a dynamic width? Of course, I admit, that we should not get deeper into its internals making our code spagetti. But just trying to ensure that we don't leave any stones unturned.

Yes, it does. The problem is no text gets rendered unless it completely fits within the control's current width. Unlike a vanilla Label which will render a portion of the text.
