1 - render in a web browser and do a screenshot
2 - buy a third party library or find a free one

Hi Guys.
I created a Windows Application. We made use of Crystal Reports XI release 2 for our reports. When I am running the setup on the users machine and try to view the reports, I am getting the following error.
An error has occurred while attempting to load the Crystal Reports runtime.
Either the Crystal Reports registry key permissions are insufficient or the Crystal Reports runtime is not installed correctly.
Please install the appropriate Crystal Reports redistributable (CRRedist*.msi) containing the correct version of the Crystal Reports runtime (x86, x64, or Itanium) required. Please go to http://www.businessobjects.com/support for more information.
Anybody know what I am suppose to do? Help will really be appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Elizma

Hi There,
Thanx for the reply. I have added all the required dll's. The program adds it automatically when I add the Project's Output to the Setup.
I also installed the Crystal Report Runtime on the client machine, but I am still getting this error.
Kind Regards,
Elizma

Hi.
Thanx for you reply. Well, I made use of Dataset when I created my reports, in code I fill this dataset and set the datasource of the Report. The thing is, this all works fine on my machine, but the moment I deploy it, I get the message above. I need to find a solution on what I need to distribute these reports with the runtime for Crystal Reports XI Release 2. I dont get this problem if I only use the build-in version of .NET, but then I cant make use of Digital Images. This functionality is in the Release 2 version, that is why I made use of this feature.
I dont know what to do anymore. I have tried all possible situations. I am now reverting back to the old version which worked properly.
Kind Regards,
Elizma

Let's say i'm running Windows Classic theme, and I create an app to look pretty much perfect under windows classic theme.
I build the app, put it on my other pc which has the windows xp theme going, run the app and the bottom is cut off by a few pixels, some of the images are as well.
Basically, how can I make my app use the windows classic theme at all times? Can't be that tricky right?

Hi all,
I am working on C# project using C# 2.0. I have a DataGrid that contains 10 rows and at runtime I insert one more row at DataGridView.Insert(0,1); in my next step, I want to delete the row from DataGridView at DataGridView.RemoveAt(9) // Index 9 is the last row in the grid. But, I am not able to delete the row. I am getting following exception: System.InvalidOperationException:Uncommitted new row cannot be deleted. at System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewRowCollection.RemoveAt(Int32 index)
Please help if you know the solution.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hey asif,
I suppose you are looping first and then find the row to delete and then you delete the row.
Please do that...Loop through the grid from backward and then remove the row.
Hope this help..

how can i make my computer screen finger touch screen responsive

Using C#, you can't. If you can, it involves buying hardware, obviously. Just buy a touch screen.

Hello if anyone can please give me just a tiny sample of how I'd do this, not just what to do I will be so grateful.
Just so you know. I have been googling for days on this and I'm not sure what to do as I am still pretty new to c#.
This is what I want to do. I have a dataset and datagrid(search results table) displaying results like this.
Siann Skills1
Siann Skills2
Siann Skills3
I want it to show this
Siann Skills1,Skills2,Skills3.
I have my select statement, then I have created a new datacolumn as I was told to do as below. Now after that, what do I do? How do I get all the skills in one column. I know I have to concatenate, and I have tried searching the net, but I can't find anything useful. is there any possibility for an example?
dgSearchResults.Columns.Add(new DataColumn("skills", GetType()));

You need to change your SQL so that you generate groups of skills for the one name, then you can render it easily from there.

Thanks but apparently I can't for some reason.
I think I need a for each statement. It is just I don't know exactly what to put in there. I have
foreach (DataSet1.EmpSkillsRow empskillsRow in empskillsDT.Rows)
{
}
Apparently then I have to create an empty string and then another text string and then for each loop fill the particular cell. Basically every time a TechnicalSkillID belongs to the same EmployeeID, then display in the TechnicalSkills column in one cell. No one seems to know how this is done in C#. We all know what to do but not how exactly. Do you know?
thanks kindly really.

If you're using SQL Server 2005, I'd say this[^] is what you need.
