In C#, you can end a line with + after the quotation. You must have the next line begin with quotation to continue the string.

I'm using LINQ to SQL and putting the generated classes inside a separate assembly (not the website project), but it's all part of the same solution. When the tool generates the classes it places the connection string inside an app.config file in the project, but I'd rather have this connection string inside the web.config file for the website.
I've been trying the figure out how to do this and have come across this inside the *.designer.cs file for the LINQ to SQL generated files...
public TopicDatabaseDataContext() : base(global::TMS.Library.Properties.Settings.Default.TopicMappingSystemConnectionString, mappingSource)<br />
{<br />
OnCreated();<br />
}
Now I could replace global::TMS.Library.Properties blah blah with some code to access the connection string in the web.config instead, but since this code is auto generated by a tool, I don't really want to do it this way. Is there a better way?

Hi friends
Currently I am working on Image Editor to create banner of the companies.
In Image editor,there are many functionalities but i have little problem to ganerate image of the text.
for this, I have one textbox to enter text.when I start to enter text in textbox every time I call handler to ganerate image.
I want to break execution process if new process come.
Suppose I enter "I" and executes codes of handler and ganerate image but process still running at that time I delete "I" and enter new text "w" so again handler codes execute at this time I want to break previous execution code to generate image for the char "I".
Any one how to do this?

u can use this concept for this
<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript">
function Minimize()
{
window.innerWidth = 100;
window.innerHeight = 100;
window.screenX = screen.width;
window.screenY = screen.height;
alwaysLowered = true;
}
function Maximize()
{
window.innerWidth = screen.width;
window.innerHeight = screen.height;
window.screenX = 0;
window.screenY = 0;
alwaysLowered = false;
}
</SCRIPT>
<A HREF="javascript:onClick=Minimize()">Minimize</A>
<A HREF="javascript:onClick=Maximize()">Maximize</A>

Hi, I have a doubt regarding forms authentication.
Generally if we take a website codeproject and assume it is used forms authentication. Thousands of users are registered in this site.
Generally when using forms authentication, the credentials are stored in web.config file, and checking with this the user can login or redirect to home page.
If thousands of users are registered, then how we can achieve the forms authentication? Where we can check all these users? we can't put all these user credentails in web.config file?

The credentials generally aren't in the web.config, but stored in a database. Here's a fairly good article explaining how it all works together: http://www.asp101.com/articles/cynthia/authentication/default.asp[^]
"On one of my cards it said I had to find temperatures lower than -8. The numbers I uncovered were -6 and -7 so I thought I had won, and so did the woman in the shop. But when she scanned the card the machine said I hadn't.

Hi, I am a windows developer who has been working on windows applications for some time. However, I am now being offered to take up a new project, a web application for online training programs. Having been a C# programmer, I would like to see if it is possible to develop this on ASP.NET. I am unable to decide if ASP.NET will be sufficient to do the following.
->The program will include showing presentation slides.
->The entire presentation will be displayed only for a certain duration of time, for example 4 hrs 6 hrs etc.
->Each slide will be timed, the user will not be able to proceed to the next slide provided he has finished the allocated time for the slide.
->Presentations will be prepare in MS Power Point. and will be uploaded by the administrator.
Please let me know if ASP.NET AJAX would be an adequate technology for this.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
As per your requirement it seems that you can do it much better in Asp.net.
Go ahead... Best of Luck..
Thanks,

Hey Abhishek,
there isnt any control in ASP.NET to show the Presentation or slides, for that you must have to use any third party control like Aspose Slides this will provide you the Power Point Management For ASP.NET, Or you have to develop a control using VSTO (Visual Studio Tools For Office). For rest of the Application ASP.NET and Ajax is Sufficient .
