Hi,
I implemented forms authentication in my web application. The "forms" tag in the web config file stores the login page and defaultUrl. I have a folder for admin. To admin signin, I created a login page in admin folder. But whenever I tried to access a page in admin folder, it will redirected to the login page in the root level. I want to display admin's login page whenever someone access admin folder. How can i do it? Please help me.
Regards,
Hogan

You should use a single login page for all users. You can then redirect the user to a different page based on their profile.

You can put a separate web.config file in the admin folder, I believe, and specify the login page for that folder there.

Use parameterized query. Read about SQL injection attacks.

What is your intent of linking your post again? After your query, wait for a while till some one answers. Looking at your thread, you were already given enough answers or directions.

Try a google search for something like "c# parse html file"[^] and see what comes up.

To load a page using javascript you don't need to set the href, you can just set the window location:
window.location = "mypage.aspx";
|
|
|
|
|
<a href="#" onclick="SetHref();" id="anchor">Set Href</a><br />
<br />
<br />
function SetHref()<br />
{<br />
document.getElementById('anchor').href="mypage.aspx";<br />
}
this works!!!

It's a hard job to make browser compatible websites. But you can almost achieve this by following W3C standards. Avoid using IE's proprietary methods and styles.
|
|
|
|
|
Mozilla is more case Sensitive than IE so make sure each tag property in proper manner and Use common property which support all browser.

I might be wrong, but AFAIK, it's not case sensitive. But it follows W3C standards, and won't allow any proprietary styles.

Yes you are right. I mean to say not a word case sensitive.
In case of IE some property correct itself or worked fine when you written something wrong.
But not with Mozilla.

when I use table within Update Panel and click any button
which is inside table,table structure change.It shouldn't be.
ex.
First Name ---
Last Name ---
changed structured:
First ---
Name
Last ---
Name
But when no update panel then no change in structure and css classes working fine.
