yes, that's the definition of a progress bar. When it stops it is complete.

Web-based progress bars and 'simple' are not words that usually appear together. The reason that almost no websites have a progress bar is because they are very difficult to do, require special features (activex,flash) or work differently in so many different browsers that it's not worth considering.

i write the code like this:-

error occur like this :- Failed to map the path '/Lords_onupdate_15-01-08/images/Cricket /GENERAL CLOTHING /Tabards /GLOVE - FUSION 4STAR.JPG'.
Please help me ..i am not getting what is the problem...
note :- the value is coming from querystring

Hi,
wondering if anybody else in this forum have the same problem.
I upload mp3 file using IE, and it returns "audio/mp3" as the MIME Type.
But when i upload the same mp3 using firefox, it returns "application/download" as
its MIME Type.
So is there any way to tell the server about the content type of the file that user uploaded?

Put onChange="Javascript: disableInputFields()" in your select field
then put the following JS
and chnage names of fields/form and so on..

Im just starting to build a .NET program that sends out a request for a webpage ( html via tcp ). Ive got alot of research to do and feel like a fish-out-of-water. If you have an example ( doesnt mater which language ) of anything related, or some tips I greatly appreciate it!

Hi everyone
I'm creating a control were I'm adding items to a listbox via javascript (AJAX). But I can't seem to being able to acces the control in my code-behind. Does anyone know why?
Now I'm saving the elements added to my listbox in a HtmlInputHidden() called "list" and trying to access this control in my C# code but still it is set to null.
Any suggestions please...??
Here is a piece of C# code:

Have you added the attribute "runat=server" to your hidden field? If you haven't, you won't be able to access it in your server-side code.

Hi Guys,
Is there a way in asp.net where we can validate the control state of the textbox?
Example:
Page_Load
Textbox1.text = "AAA"
Textbox2.text = "BBB"
Textbox3.text = "CCC"
End Sub
Based on the example above, how can the control detect automatically if the values in Textbox1, Textbox2, and Textbox3 were changed? Is there a property like control.state or textbox1.state, if was it edited or not?
Or any other solutions in doing this?
And by the way, I didn't use scriptmanager and updatepanel because I have a FileUpload control included in the page.
