When i click on print button of crystal report tool bar, it reloads the report and after click on OK button of Print dialog box it again take time as much as on report loading.
My main question is that, is there any another way to print report without reloading once it loaded.
The great pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do.

Hi, I have designed a site using vs2008 and .net framework 3.5. Everything works perfectly in our development environment.
However when we upload all files to Production Server, we recieve the following error when browsing to the website "asp.net client side framework failed to load".
We have also copied all the code across and receive the same error so it is not a deployment issue it has something to do with the box. Are there any special Security settings that we may have missed? The box still runs the 2.0 version of the site fine. We are using IIS6 and we have installed the 3.5 framework on this box.
Note: In Production server does not have vs2008 but have .net framework 2.5 & AJAX framework 3.5
Any suggestions would be appreciated
Thanks in Advance

I use a gridview to display a list of records. Each record has a "View" button attached to it, which you can click and view the details of
the particular record. In the "View" page there is a "back" button which you click to take you to the Gridview displaying the list.
The problem I have is when I go to say page 2 on the Gridview and then I click to "View" a record, when I click the back button it will always
return me to page 1 of the Gridview and never to the page I had just been on.
Here is the code in the back button:
Response.Redirect("DisplaySearch.aspx?Id=" & Request.QueryString.GetValues("Id")(0) & "&DateFrom=" & Request.QueryString.GetValues("DateFrom")(0) & "&DateTo=" & Request.QueryString.GetValues("DateTo")(0) & "&Name=" & Request.QueryString.GetValues("Name")(0) & "&BehalfOf=" & Request.QueryString.GetValues("BehalfOf")(0) & "&RefNo=" & Request.QueryString.GetValues("RefNo")(0) & "&Section=" & Request.QueryString.GetValues("Section")(0) & "")
Anyone any ideas on this?

Send the PageIndex along with the View URL. Make use of it when you return back from the View page.

How are you navigating to the Detail page when the View button is clicked?
|
|
|

The following response.redirect :
Response.Redirect("DisplaySearch.aspx?Id=" & Request.QueryString.GetValues("Id")(0) & "&DateFrom=" & Request.QueryString.GetValues("DateFrom")(0) & "&DateTo=" & Request.QueryString.GetValues("DateTo")(0) & "&Name=" & Request.QueryString.GetValues("Name")(0) & "&BehalfOf=" & Request.QueryString.GetValues("BehalfOf")(0) & "&RefNo=" & Request.QueryString.GetValues("RefNo")(0) & "&Section=" & Request.QueryString.GetValues("Section")(0) & "")

Add the PageIndex of the GridView as a querystring along with this URL.

yes, but what I am asking is how do you do that?

I have a gridview which I have made changes to in the development environment, but when I copy across to the live production environment
the changes do not show up.
Anyone any idea why this is??

Is it a Custom Control Library? If so, have you updated the reference in the production environment?
If you have done the changes in the Page level itself, did you changed the codebehind? If so, have you published it and updated the binaries in the Bin directory of the production environment?

I have completely deleted the project from the Production Environment and re-copied the project from development and it is still not working. It is like it is caching the old version of the system and not reading the new version I have put in.
Any ideas?

How much you pay for me if I write the code for you?

What do you mean by wrong?
Does it not compile?
Does the information display incorrectly in the list?
Does the incorrect information display in the list?
Is something else wrong with it?
Seriously, if you want assistance, you need to give us more information. We cannot read minds you know.

Not change the index. Insert the value in same index

Not changing the index? Why don't you write like that?
ddlequipmentno.Items.Add(i.ToString());
|
|
|
|
|
Gagan Deep Garg wrote: Not change the index. Insert the value in same index
Insert inserts a value at the index specified, and everything else moves around to accomodate it.
If you want to change a value at a specific index use the indexer notation
Something like this:
MyDdl.Items[index] = newValue;

ok, there's some confusing word here...
do you want to "insert" or make the list (i to nowrec) to exist in your dropdownlist ?
if you want to "insert" there's nothing wrong in your code. the result from your code is : your ddl (dropdownlist) will have the list with nowrec is first in dropdownlist's list.
if you want to make the list exist then you just have to change the code to
"ddlequipmentno.Items.Add(i.ToString())"
hope it works...
