Navigating in the Calendar control will not be slow. Probably the Page which the calendar present is heavy.

Best solution is use JavaScript calendar which are available free in internet. Or else use JavaScript and DropDownList controls (Date/Month/Year) to make a nice DatePicker.

Hi,
I m newbiew to Asp.net(vb).
I have a menu control which include some items like Home,Search etc.
The Search Item have some subitems. The problem is that the dynamic part(subitems of search) of menu is hided by another control which is just placed under of menu control,
I want to show it just like Message Boards of Code Project(See Above) it shows its subitem above all the controls.
I hope someone will understand my problem and help me to solve it
Looking forward for your response, Thans with anticipation

Is that control is a DropDownList(ComboBox) control? If so, you can't. Because DropDownList (ComboBox) is windowed control which have the first preferences that other HTML controls. This is a known IE bug, which is said to be fixed in IE 7.

You haven't understand my response clear. Read it again. I asked you, "What is the control which is overlapped on your Menu Control? Is it a DropDownList?"

Then, set z-index to the image lesser than the Menu.

I have a asp.net page which i open it inside a form with fixed layout.
Once the form is loaded the inside controls exceeds the form size, and i am not able to access the controls.
I disabled the body scroll=no, since this is an requirement.
Is there any other way to bring the controls inside the form without altering the form size.
thanks in advance.........

How about a scrollable DIV encompassing the form? So you get a little scrollbar for the DIV alone?

hello,
I want to call an ASP page and retrieve the response.
This can be done with HttpWebRequest,
but this request seems to be launched as a different session ?
I want to avoid posting a form or working with the querystring,
so everything is stored in the session.
anyone has an idea what I should do?
gr,
Niko

I think you need to pickup the cookie and other Request Headers and emit the same along with your WebRequest.

Can ASP.NET cookies/Request Headers sharable with ASP or other ASP.NET application? If so, where is the security then?

That would launch the external ping utility. You ought to capture the output of the command. Instead of that, you can simply try the following:
