function ChangePage(id)
{
// save the page clicked
document.all.PageNumber.value = id;
// call the __doPostBack function to post back the form and execute the PageClick event
__doPostBack('PageClick','');
}
It's working fine when I use this code with aspx page(without master page)
but when I use this code with aspx page(with master page).
It's not working.
can anyone tell me how to do it.
means how to assign id into document.all.PageNumber.value using master page ?
thanks

If you are passing values as query strings, how can you hide it ? If you wan to hide the values from user, consider encrypting the query string values or use some other method.

Actually when I use visible="true"
I'm able to get data in text box from grid view.
But I have to show that data in grid view unneccessarily.
thanks

Hi,
I am using repeater control. In that I am repeate the checkbox control.
If the check box is check then I want the ID and Text of that check box
and stored it into the database.
How can I do this?
For ur information the code is like below:-
.cs code
protected void Repeater1_ItemCreated(object sender, RepeaterItemEventArgs e)
{
RepeaterItem ri = (RepeaterItem)e.Item;
if (ri.ItemType == ListItemType.Item || ri.ItemType == ListItemType.AlternatingItem)
{
CheckBox cb = ri.FindControl("cb") as CheckBox;
cb.CheckedChanged += new EventHandler(cb_CheckedChanged);
Label lblID = ri.FindControl("bt") as Label;
string str = lblID.AssociatedControlID.ToString();
string str1 = lblID.Text.ToString();
}
}
private void cb_CheckedChanged(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
CheckBox cb = (CheckBox)sender;
if (cb.Checked)
{
string str = cb.Text;
}
else
{
//this.Response.Write("Unchecked");
}
}
----------------------------------------------------------------
and .aspx code :-
<asp:repeater id="Repeater1" runat="server" onitemcommand="Repeater1_ItemCommand" onitemcreated="Repeater1_ItemCreated"><itemtemplate>
<asp:checkbox autopostback="true" id="cb" runat="server">

Problem Statement:
I am working on .Net Framework 2.0. I have *.cs file located in App_Code.
In that file a function is Ajax enabled
[AjaxPro.AjaxMethod(HttpSessionStateRequirement.Read)]
public string PullPrice(string txnID, string data)
{
......
catch (Exception ex)
{
ParentPage parentpage;
parentpage.HandleException(ex);
}
}
The ParentPage is located in same App_Code. In that file Iam using Server.Tranfer("ExceptionPage.aspx")in function HandleException. But the Server.Transfer does not work when the function is Ajax enabled. If the function is not Ajax enabled it works. Even Response.Redirect also does not work.
I need to transfer the contents of error messge to "ExceptionPage.aspx"
Please give us your valuable suggestions / feedback ??

AJAX is Asynchronous Javascript And Xml...
I think you can see what happens with Javascript disabled.

AJAX means Asynchronous JavaScript and XML.
When you knock out JavaScript it reads as Asynchronous JavaScript and XML. Even the simple English sentence formation is breaking. And so would the application too.

var head = getYourHead();
while (Not sunk in)
HitHeadAgainstWall();

If you need to get to the server from the client you either have to do a full postback or resort to Ajax. As you've been told, without javascript you can't call Ajax. Even if you could use some mechanism to get data from the server younwould not be able to do anything with it when it comes back to your client as JS is disabled.
1 - why is JS disabled.
2 - what *exactly* are you trying to do that you have to use ajax for but have JS disabled.

He's trying to write a browser exploit that uses AJAX (with JavaScript) that works on a browser that won't execute JavaScript. I'd be surprise if his exploit even worked on a JavaScript-enabled browser.
