Hi to all.
This is my first question in C# forum because I just started with VS2005 C#. My question concern resizing window. To achieve resizing controls on form I used three panels and some docking and anchoring, even add a single line of code on Resizing method on panel to force it to maintain a width of half of a form.
private void panel2_Resize(object sender, EventArgs e)<br />
{<br />
panel2.Size = new System.Drawing.Size((int)(this.Size.Width * 0.5), panel2.Size.Height);<br />
}<br />
It works but it's bad. When I resizing window this calculation (panel2.Size) is not happening always it is delayed and often jumps so it looks early bad.
BTW
In each panel (upper left and upper right) I have tree view controls, on Bottom one I placed some buttons and label's.

try :
Application.DoEvents();
or
this.Refresh();
or
panel2.Refresh();
after resizing the panel

never needed to in c#.net but i suspect you need to double buffer because your drawing to the screen it will be jumpy.

Do I find this (double buffer) under Properties bar in VS, because it seems I can't find it there?!
Or, I can add it in code using 'SetStayle'?
Thanks for replay

Hi,
iam trying to send email to CRM contact in C# using CRM template.
My Code :
InstantiateTemplateRequest instTemplate = new InstantiateTemplateRequest();
instTemplate.TemplateId = new Guid(TemplateId);
instTemplate.ReturnDynamicEntities = true;
instTemplate.ObjectId = new Guid("F54B6128-B9DF-DC11-9EA9-0018F80B1359");// Contact's GUID
instTemplate.Subject = "hello";
instTemplate.ObjectType = EntityName.contact.ToString();
Here iam using InstantiateTemplateRequest . i wanetd to know what i need to mention for objectid and object Type. This email template i have created is for contact. I tried by giving object type as contact and objectid as Guid of recipient id. also tried with system user id..
iam getting error on
InstantiateTemplateResponse instTemplateResponse = (InstantiateTemplateResponse)Ca.ExecuteRequest(instTemplate);
as "Service unable to process request"
Please can anyone tell me what i need to specify for object id and object type.

Nice. You send us the call stack (or possibly part of one), but not the error message itself. Therefore we don't know what the error is other than it happened at some point when checking or unchecking a list box item.

I really hope you mean you want to do this from Visual Studio as you're developing...if not, let me know and I will drop some abuse to you like the others.
Right click on project
Browse with.... select the default browser in there.

Hi!
I have some problem relating saving datetime variable in SQL Server from C#.net application. i use Datetime.ToShortDateString() while sending parameter to Database. now the format of resulting string depends upon the regional settings of windows and SQL server takes M/dd/yyyy format or ISO format yyyymmdd. I want my application to be independent of regional settings. so i want whatever the regional setting is i should send to DB after converting to M/dd/yyyy format. For this purpose i wanted to override DateTime.ToShortDateString() but DateTime is a sealed class. So what should i Do???
any suggestions??
May God help u solv ur problems as well,thx in advance!!

Don't use a string, use a parameter.
