i am using rdlc local report.
two of my reports,having one page it displays perfect in report viewer and also print fine.
but when i export that report in pdf format.it gives 10 pdf pages,with page width breaking.
what is the problem?and how to fix this?
plz help me.

You'll have to tweak your page layout so that your report content doesn't span more than 1 page width.
You could i) Reduce the size of the page margins ii) Reduce the width of your report
Play around with these properties until the PDF output renders OK.

Hi
I'm trying to add sqldatabase in my application. But i'm unable to do this. It's giving error like this.
"Failed to generate a user interface of a Sql Server due to failure in copying database files. The connection will be closed."
Plese help..

I have no idea what you even mean. Some wizard lets you import a SQL Server DB holus bolus ? How bizarre. I don't even use the database explorer in VS, I use SQL Server and write code in my data layer.
What are you doing exactly ?

Actually my problem is I have some screens on Asp.net by using Ajax. In these screen I am using some drop downs and data grid. On page load data is populated on dropdowns by default and on run button click data is populated on data grid based on selected value from drop down. First time when I open any screen everything is working properly but next time its not loaded data on run button click, for this I have to refresh page and then the screen working.

I am working on a web project which is allowing the users to upload their documents. And it should also provide the user with the option to dowlaod the documents that were uploaded by him. Documents can be of any type(work,excel,pdf etc even image files can be uploaded).Now my doubt is how to achieve the dowlaoding of the files that are stored. I am working on .net 2.0

The person who answered you here has given you all the important information ( that is, how to use the response object to write a file back out for download ). In fact, what you want is simpler, you just need to read the file bytes from the file system.

I have given upload all image types using upload control.But when i retireve a gif image an exception A generic error occurred in GDI+. is occur .how to overcome it.
