So where are these functions supposed to run on?

When a mode dialog show in Vista, surrounding screen of dialog is become dim.
How to do this effect with C#?
My OS is XP-sp2 and Vista an among thoseses.
has anybody did this effect sample here?
I want to study.Thanks.

Your best bet is to do a full screen borderless dialog, and make it semi transparent. Then put your form above it.

Why did you vote Christian's answer down? He's told you exactly how to do it.

is there any way to convert the string to binary and subsequently to decimal.

i am asking this question because out of (02 , 1 , 1a) both are string type values , how should i ascertain programatically which is bigger(I mean , how to align them in ascending order)?
I thought , first i should convert the string to binary and subsequently to decimal.
Am I doing right ?

Today , i wrote the code , for sorting the datatable according to the decimal type column or string type column.All i have to do is to pass the datatable and the column number according to which one has to sort.
I want to improve the code.
Should i display it here ?

if you convert to a number, it will be a number, it won't be binary or decimal. Those are rendering details. int.TryParse turns a string to an int.

Are these hex numbers ? I guess write a sort routine to turn them into numbers and sort from there.

Good Morning,
After searching for 3 seconds I gave up hope and started praying that someone else will be able to help me.
Can anyone tell me how to see if the IDE is open through code?
I want to skip some code if the program is running in Debug mode through the IDE, but run the code if the program runs on a customer workstation.
At the moment I'm using #Define, but this generally end up being forgotten when going into a Live environment.
Regards,

You can use #if DEBUG to check whether the program is running on debug mode. When you release the application in release mode, all the code written inside this will be skipped.
#if DEBUG
Console.WriteLine("running on debug");
#endif

I've found myself in a bind with the report viewer control...
Here is what I'm trying to build:
http://img135.imageshack.us/img135/2971/reporthelpzb2.gif[^]
Decode Key:
Blue = report
Red = horizontal table of objects
Yellow = values list in red object (of variable length, normally <=3 && >=1)
Here is how I setup my data business object classes as follows:
MainDataClass
|_TableObject
|_DateField
|_ValuesList
|_Value
|_UnitValue
I setup the data to point toward the TableObject and then bound the DataBoundObject to the MainDataClass.GetAllData() method.
My problem is I can't come up with a good solution to display the dynamic number values in the ValueList (horizontally preferred)
I was thinking I could use a matrix but doesn't that require two data grouops? Also a table only shows values vertically!
