This looks a heck of a lot like homework, sounds like you're going to fail. Learn from the experience, next time, do your research, pay attention in class and get the resources you need, such as reading the texts they provide. If all else fails, try to do your own homework and ask specific questions like 'here's my implimentation of a difference function, but it's returning only the items that were in the first set, how do I fix this ?'.
We never do homework where people are too lazy to try for themselves, but I think people like yourself sometimes don't realize that we are here to help, for people who are willing to try.

Is there a way to take offscreen captures of a application, the article http://www.codeproject.com/KB/graphics/screen_capturing.aspx[^] use the handle, but does also show the visible foreground programs. I want only the application, and not the foreground applications.
Note: The Taskbar Popups in Vista does what I want, but I do not use Vista.

Hello..
I did the Riemer's XNA tutorial about moving water http://www.riemers.net/eng/Tutorials/XNA/Csharp/Series4/Moving_water.php[^].
Now I'm trying to adjust the code a little bit so that I can control the wave using the keyboard. I know that I can control the wave here:
effect.Parameters["xWaveLength"].SetValue(0.5f);<br />
effect.Parameters["xWaveHeight"].SetValue(1.0f);
Anyone who can help me to change the code coz I'm so bad in programming..

I'm not sure doing graphics programming with DirectX (XNA) is the correct thing to do if your find yourself "so bad in programming". Changing these values using the keyboard should be a thing of five minutes for any advanced programmer.

Hi,
Try this code:
<br />
float x = 0.5f;<br />
float y = 1.0f;<br />
<br />
if (Keyboard.GetState(PlayerIndex.One).IsKeyDown(Keys.Up)) <br />
{<br />
x += 0.1f;<br />
}<br />
<br />
if (Keyboard.GetState(PlayerIndex.One).IsKeyDown(Keys.Down)) <br />
{<br />
y += 0.1f;<br />
}<br />
<br />
effect.Parameters["xWaveLength"].SetValue(x);<br />
effect.Parameters["xWaveLength"].SetValue(y);<br />
Have a look at the Chase Camera example on the XNA creators club site. When I was beginning XNA I found that example to be very useful for learning the basics - primarily camera and model movement.
Mark.

Let me get this right! You want to install software developed in .NET onto a Windows Computer right?
If so the there is already PUBLISH tool available in Visual Studio.NET. Goto your project properties and then Publish. Goto Build -> Publish yourAppName
This will create a setup file for for your application and then... you should know the rest.

thank you,
As in the refrences folder dlls will be added (DevComponents.dll)....
So i want to know how to register these dlls to the clients GAC
Publish will work,,
Please tell me how to add dlls to the clients system

Everything you are using or have used will automatically be added to the setup file. And as far as I know I don't think you will need to register dlls on client's GAC, because they are already registered in VS. But I may be wrong about this.
Read this artical it may help you understand Publish Feature.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/tour/vs2005_guided_tour/VS2005pro/Smart_Client/ClickOnce.htm[^]
And simple way to find out is Test it! Create setup file and install on other windows machine.

If the software is being installed on a client machine, then VS will not be present
only two letters away from being an asset

Allright!
Well the easy way to do is to Create your Installing package and in that you can use the following code to register your DLL.
<br />
{<br />
<br />
System.Diagnostics.Process.Start("regsvr32", "LocationOfUrDLL /s");<br />
<br />
}
Hope you get it done!

Great, if the dll is a COM component.

this.Cursor = new Cursor(GetType(), "MyCursor.Cur"); <br />

I am sure you can make out clearly from the ADT tht its an interface created for Set. Now this is supposed to test if it is empty, or if a element belongs to a set and find the inetersection of 2 sets and so on. But i wanted to implement this in C#. but i couldn't program it in C#. So can anyone help me please
// invariant: Cardinality >= 0
public interface ISet
{
// Pre: true
// Post: return the cardinality of the set
int Cardinality { get; }
// Pre: true
// Post: Object element is contained in the set and the
// cardinality increases by 1
void Add(Object element);
// Pre: Object element is contained in the set
// Post: Object element is not contained in the set and the
// cardinality decreases by 1
void Remove(Object element);
// Pre: true
// Post: return true if Object element is contained in the set;
// otherwise, return false.
bool IsMember(Object element);
// Pre: true
// Post: return true if Cardinality = 0; otherwise, return false.
bool IsEmpty();
// Pre: true
// Post: return true if all elements in the set are contained in
// set anotherSet; otherwise return false.
bool IsSubsetOf(ISet anotherSet);
// Pre: true
// Post: return true if all elements in this set are contained in
// set anotherSet and all elements in set anotherSet are
// also contained in this set; otherwise, return false.
bool IsEqual(ISet anotherSet);
// Pre: true
// Post: return a set that contains all elements in set
// anotherSet and all elements in this set
ISet Union(ISet anotherSet);
// Pre: true
// Post: return a set that contains elements in both set
// anotherSet and this set
ISet Intersection(ISet anotherSet);
// Pre: true
// Post: return a set that contains elements that are contained
// in this set, but are not contained in set anotherSet
ISet Difference(ISet anotherSet);
}

Hello,
I have a problem with using Microsoft Application Blocks Configuration manager with Visual Studion 2008, .NET framework 2.0 on a Vista machine.
I am using unencryped XML as the data store and provider. In my C# code I call ConfigurationManager.Write("MyConfig", myObject) after the user changes a value of myObject.
The MyApplication.vshost.exe.config file in my MyProject\Bin\Debug folder updates on the write. Its timestamp updates and if I open the file in a text editor its content changes the way it should.
The problem:
When the user closes the application the MyApplication.vshost.exe.config file's timestamp reverts to its original value and the contents of the file also revert to original.
I have researched this problem a good deal with no luck. I have found the same behavior in the sample code for MSAB that was installed on my machine from the Microsoft download. That is in the provided QuickStarts.Write project I can save a change to the XML configuration file and Write.vshost.exe.config updates until I close the application. The configuration file reverts to the original timestamp and content when the application closes.
Arrrrrgghhhhhh!
Thanks in advance for any insight into this headbanger.

Would it be possible that, after making changes to the application config file, you forget to call:
Configuration.Save() to save the changes ConfigurationManager.RefreshSection() to force reloading the changed section ?
