I would suspect that you should run this one on the Infragistics forums.

My application uses the .NET framework 2.0
it works fine on Windows XP but it does not work on Windows Vista.
As I understand the .net framework 2.0 is a apart of Windows Vista.
So why do you think my application does not work on Vista?

I'm guessing that your application is breaking some of the Vista no-no rules.

Well our Security Dept. mandated an automatic update over the weekend. Now my workstation environment with my ASP.NET Project on it is broken and after two hours of trying to fix it ( unsuccessfully ) I needed a break. So I found your post and Googled:
MSDN "Vista no-no rules"<br />
No results

Well none of the replies so far have offered any wild guesses so I will. I would bet it's because you have failed in your responsibility as a software developer to read the Vista migration documentation and guidelines provided by Microsoft.
Did I guess right? Did I win?

The simplest answer that many may come up with is: Vista sux.
But you may want to try running your program as administrator. This often works for me with my programs.

Dear Friends,
The error is
"APD.exe is stopped working" where APD.exe is my application name.
this message appeared when I run the application on windows vista as administrator.
I used web browser control on the application, some of my friends told me that using this control may be the problem.
Is using web browser control in Visual Studio 2005 can do this error on windows Vista?

Depends on the platform your website is on. Is it *nix or IIS based?

- Don't shout. People will be more inclined to help you if you aren't shouting at them.
- Don't cross-post. You posted this same question here and here[^]. Posting your question multiple times generally won't help you get an answer any faster.
- Don't re-post. You posted this message once and then posted it again two more times one minute apart. Again, posting multiple times isn't going to get you an answer any faster.
- Don't simply ask for people to do your work for you.
