What a greatly worded question
you should have a look at the datetime property in c# and search on google that might be a start

Use a Custom Validator. Or, if your reg expression knowledge is good enough you can use that instead.

if (filed.Text > "12:59")
{
label1.Text = "Please enter a valid time";
}

Consider a scenario where a user puts the impersonate element with user name and password in web.config file. If the underlying domain has a policy of changing password every 15 days will impersonation work?
May be a dumb question, but what should be done in that case?

Well, you need a ton of javascript to create a client side engine for drawing out UI, and a system for storing out what was drawn, and recreating it. Hooking it up to events and stuff as well means you have a ton of work to do.

Thanks a lot dear..
I have found one Jscript for the same. but not implemented yet.. Actually i need my user to be able to do any kind of artwork on the page he is viewing.
He can simply modify existing test pages and i can see the modification he suppose wanted in that page..

This forum is for asking people to help you with your ASP.NET code. I don't see how this qualifies

Dear all,
How to calculate number of days between current date and future date .I want to calculte this in the code, not in sql.
For ex:I want to calculate no. of days between
11/01/2007(mm/dd/yyyy format) to 03/31/2008.
This i want to calculate for every year automatically.Means that from current date to coming financial year ending.
plz send me some idea so that i will caluclate.
\
I know how to calculate between selected dates like
finaldate = seconddate.Subtract(firstdate).Days
But i want to calculate automatically from current date to coming march 31st..
please it is urgent.
Thanks in advance.

If it is urgent, post it in paid support, not here.

If you know this, then what's the issue with current date ?

I have problem when i want to claculate automatically every year.
From current date(suppose august 15th'08) and want to calculate days between 15th aug'08 to 31st march 2009.
Current date i can take,but how i can check this march 31st every year.
I dont want to give static date.bcz it will nowt work for the coming years(like after 2-5 yrs.)
So can i do it with any date propertis.I dont have any idea.
I know that all r busy,those who have idea they can give me immediately.This is wat i maen to say "it is urgent".
Thanks for ur reply

From where you are getting this date ? Or are you trying to check the one year time period ?

Generally it irritates the people who look at your post. Also many of them won't reply to such posts, hence you lose many replies.

Yes u catch my point exactly.
Here 31st march should programmatically,so that user need not enter.
Condition is user should automatically get the no. of days from current date to 31st march.
My question is can i give this date by using any type of cascading or something else with date function.
plz give me some idea.I am repeating my qn.
I want to calculate days between current date to coming 31 st march.
This 31st march'09 is not a static date.

In your case march 31st is static right.? Only thing changing is year.
So why not do like this
Next march 31st is
DateTime nxtMarch = new DateTime();
if(DateTime.Now.Month < 3)
{
nxtMarch = = DateTime.Prase("03/31/"+DateTime.Now.Year);
}
else
{
nxtMarch = = DateTime.Prase("03/31/"+(DateTime.Now.Year+1));
}
Now you can easily subtract.
TimeSpan span = DateTime.Now.Subtract(nxtmarch);
Thanks

Current date to next year 31st March, right ?
DateTime futureDate = DateTime.Parse(string.Format("3/31/{0}", DateTime.Now.Year + 1));
TimeSpan timeSpan = futureDate.Subtract(DateTime.Now);
int days = timeSpan.Days; Above code will calculate the days remaining to next 31st march from current date.

This one's going to cause you problems if it is currently Jan, Feb or Mar as then you dont want next march you want this march.
