The file has been sent to you; however it got hidden perfectly between the previous

algorithm to it first.

It was a fairly ambitious undertaking, defying reality like that.
What has the future in store for this strange being, born of a breath, of perishable tissue, yet Immortal, with his powers fearful and Divine?
What magic will be wrought by him in the end?
What is to be his greatest deed, his crowning achievement?

How can I correct it?

Does it not give you any more details of the error?
I'm assuming this is being run in a script? Can you replicate the script step by step in the command window? - This might give you some more details about the problem when it pops up.

Write a MATLAB® function to calculate the condition number of a symmetric square matrix of any size by means of Eigenvalues:
§ The power method should be used to calculate the Eigenvalues.
§ The script (function) should give an error message if the matrix is not square and/or is not symmetric.
§ The result of the built-in MATLAB® function “cond” should be displayed in addition to the results of the power method.
For example:
function [condPower,condMatlab]=NameofFunction(A,…)
…
…
condPower=…;
condMatlab=cond(A);
fprintf(‘Condition of matrix calculated using the Power method is %5.2g and using cond(A) is %5.2g \n’, condPower,condMatlab);

1. Write a MATLAB® script to solve the following Continuous Stirred Tank Reactor (CSTR) problem using Gauss-Siedel iteration. Five CSTR’s are connected in series. Find the exit concentration from each reactor.
Assumptions for the system are:
§
ki
Steady state system
§ First-order irreversible reaction in liquid phase AàB
§ No change in volume or density of liquid
§ Rate of disappearance of solute in reactor given by: Ri=VikiCi mol/h
Reactor 1
Reactor 2
Reactor 3
Reactor 4
Reactor 5
Vi (L)
100
150
75
40
80
ki (h-1)
0.1
0.2
0.3
0.5
0.3
Hints: First set up the material (mass) balance equations for each of the reactors
Remember: input-output-disappearance by reaction-accumulation=0, where accumulation will be zero for a steady state system.
You will have 5 equations and 5 unknown variables Ci, where i=1:5
Make sure the system of linear equations is diagonally dominant.

No wonder you are in a hurry.

Why you say "You want us to do your mid-term exam for you??" ?
Is it a shame For me?
I don't think so , I'm just waiting for help..Because I AM desperate!
If I cannot send this to my instractor,She will gave me F-,Than I cannot graduate this year!!
This is UNfair.

It sounds entirely fair to me. Why should you be allowed to graduate if you're not ready? If you haven't done sufficient preparation, that's your fault, not ours. No one is going to help you cheat and gain a qualification you don't deserve.

It is Fair HA??
I am studing in Chemical Engineering Department.!
I am not a student of Coding or Computer Engineering,This is 2.nd class course,And this year our instructor had changed and Last year we dont have to do such things like This!
So I am READY for CHEMICAL ENGINEERING! But not FOR Computer ENGINEERING! ok?
I am From TURKEY and in our COunrty ,They gave us Such stupid things like that,For example MATLAB.We use CHemcad. But not MATLAB!
Judging isvery easy than helping someone else?Am I Right?
If you help me doing this , I appriciate..
In my class, the other students gave money(About 50-100$) to a MATLAB programmer, and make them to do this project.Project made by a programmer.
But I am not RICH! So I cannot affor to pay 50$ for a project.
Now tell me,IS IT FAIR! If you think so,The world is changing FAST and Furious!
Anyway,I am tring to this until this Midnight.(00:00)
Just waiting ,and tring to do this....

No kidding. I wonder if he ever did turn the fellow students in. First night of my class, people learn what can happen with academic dishonesty. It is pretty much summed up, as a don't even go there kind of thing.

Wow, are you having a slow day to get back this far? I don't know if he turned his buddies in or not but I turned him in. He left enough bread crumbs that I tracked down is professor in Turkey and sent her an e-mail showing his activity here. She replied so I know she saw it but her response wasn't as satisfying as I'd hoped. Something to the effect that she'd teach them better so they didn't have to cheat.

Wow.
Tim Craig wrote: Something to the effect that she'd teach them better so they didn't have to cheat.
Okay, she better herself, but should have done something about the cheating. I remember when doing my Master's work, this guy was in a class before my class, who got caught cheating and was really upset that the teacher was pretty much academically nuking the guy.
Luckily, all of my students from my classes I've taught, none have inquired anyone around here to do their assignments for them. I do recommend to student this site.

Wow, this is pretty ignorant of you. When you get out into the real world and find that some places actually use MATLAB instead of CHEMLAB, you're going to be pretty screwed, aren't you?

ahhh, the old inter-disciplinary excuse. I hear it quite often, I even used it myself once. Look, we can all understand that you don't know this. What you don't seem to understand is that maybe there is a reason you SHOULD know this. MATLAB is not "computer programming" as it is to most of us here. Yes, it is a form of programming, per se. But MATLAB is a tool used by many inter-disciplinary engineering departments. I know Civil engineers who use matlab to check stresses, I know chemical engineers who test reaction points and many things beyond me, I know physicists who use it for their work, mathematicians who use it for theirs, but far fewer computer engineers. Why? because the computer engineers have many more tools. They too have their tools, but MATLAB is primarily a tool for general engineering, not computer engineering.
When you get into the market you will have to use "a tool" to verify your work, or test a theory, or many things. That tool will often be MATLAB. It is worth your time to learn it. You say you are poor, then do yourself a favor, learn MATLAB and then all the others can pay you $50-$100 to do their work.
I was young once, I learned the same lesson. I was furious for having to learn calculus. I was a computer programmer, my computer would do all that for me. Idiot that I was. Now I am that programmer who has to teach the computers calculus and fluid dynamics. If you don't like the school's demands, change schools, or change degrees. Otherwise, buckle down and learn what you are offered. In the end it will make you smarter, and higher demand than those other idiots paying for someone to do their work. Be different, be better, LEARN IT!

I have a degree in Computer Science, but I also had to take courses in Communication, History, and Humanities. I, not someone else, had to study those right along with my major. Why should you think you are so different?

Because , This year they begin to study Matlab to us.(ABout 1 month)
So We cannot Study MATLAB as well.
Matlab is 1 cemester lesson in my School.
Any way,If any one help me,I appriciate.
Any one ,who want to help me do not have do all the script,If he/she shows me the way to write this script,It will be necessary for me.
It is not important me to be rich ,I want to be JUSt Happy,I am 24 ,I am not rich, poor in deed. But Until this week I am Happy,But this script makes me VERY sad.
Anyway,my mail adress is weicell@yahoo.com
you can contact me her or via mail.
THANK you .
