In the listvie when you select the particular colume for exe:LEFT hand side of the selected column will REMAIN static and visible.especially when the user scrolls right across the table/row to view columns currently out of view.

This isn't an ASP.NET question. You can look into controling Excel through the Microsoft Tools for Office, from memory. That's the only way you're going to set the cell name, otherwise you could just create a csv file.

If you spit out a csv, excel can just open it. But only one sheet, and you can't name the sheet.

Hey y'all,
I am uploading a file to a directory in my root named "Pictures" and it works fine.
I also add a title , url, and name of the picture in a XmlDatasource, and this works fine.
In my masterPage.master file I have;

<a id="linkPart" runat="server" href="http://www.pic_site.com>
<img id="imagePart" runat="server" src="pictures/pic.jpg" alt="Image of the Day" /></a>
<p id="captionPart" runat="server">The rules according to Luna</p>
</div>
And in my masterPage.master.cs code behind file I have;
XmlNode elem = GetRandomPictureNode();
linkPart.HRef = elem.SelectSingleNode("url").InnerText;
str = elem.SelectSingleNode("file").InnerText;
string path = Server.MapPath("~/pictures/");
imagePart.Src = path + str;
captionPart.InnerText = elem.SelectSingleNode("title").InnerText;
The value that gets put into .Src is correct but the image doesn't display I get the alt "Image of the Day" instead?
P.S. The link and title work fine its just the image that doesn't work!
What the heck have I overlooked or don't understand?

ok..Have u created the setup project? if so right click on the setup project in the solution. In the menu click on View->CustomActions. Now in the Custom Actions window under install tab add the second setup file u wish to add.

ok..but is the second setup u are adding is created using .NET? then add both .exe and .msi files ...i think it should work then

how can I implement progress bar while uploading file.
like-how much in percent(%) has been completed or remaining.
and page should not be crashed untill process is completed.
I want to implement time concept also like-clock will be continue along with uploading.

Your best bet here is to buy a control that does this using AJAX. Without AJAX, you can't have a progress control at all, but AJAX can't send a file, so I'm not sure how the commercial contros fudge it.
