People wouldn't trust this post for the simple reason that it does not contain the company website or profile besides using a FREE Webmail service which any Tom, Dick or Harry can pick it up. This assumes mammoth importance at least during now, with fake passport rackets, godmen and gold rackets are being busted open by the police.

You don't know HoTMaiL's history, do you?? It used to be only the biggest source/target of spam in history. To this day, the domain isn't trusted by anyone who knows of it's past.

hotmail doesn't exactly inspire confidence that you're dealing with a company. If you can't afford to set up a proper email address, then what are the chances that you are going to work in a professional company?

People may get suspicious if you can't use a decent/professional email address for their company.

Why Indian or Russian? Are other people not good or chopped liver? That's kind of discrimatory. You should really be looking for someone who can do the job well for you, especially for $90K

Hi All,
My web application is taking too much time to release the page after it loads completly.
Scenario:
I have 9 views in a single page and some views have link with controls in other views. There is no problem with the page load/refresh, afetr it loads the progress bar stays still for some time ie., it doesnt release the page to the user.
Maximum users in the system would be 2600, but as per my perception it doesnt really hurt the application, since it loads quick but takes time to release the page(Struck). Today only 102 users logged into the system at peek time.
Please someone suggest how to tackle this issue.
Im using framework 2.0, SQL Server 2005 and IIS 6 in Windows 2003.
Thanks,
Bala

You ought to describe your programming query, by selecting an appropriate forum. A vague-n-weird introduction like this in a strange forum does not help out anyone.

You're best to learn the programming yourself in class, and when stumped on something or need clarification, ask in the appropriate forum. Try to refrain from having people do your work for you. Good luck in your studies.

I know that in VS2003 that Crystal Reports is available. The question I have is, how important is it to know the intricate details of Crystal Reports these days?
I mainly create worksheets in Excel for any reports I do. My clients seem fine with the form, but I am a bit of an Excel design hack.
So what do you think? Do you use Crystal Reports in every day programming? If not, what do you do?

Well, as a developer, my favorite reporting tool is the ReportViewer in .NET 2.0. You can display tabular data and charts and it has several really helpful features, such as paging and a built in download to excel. The only problem is that out of the box it is built for use with Reporting Services (which I understand to be similar to Crystal Reports). With a little coding, however, you can use any datasource with it. http://www.codeproject.com/KB/cs/microsoftreporting.aspx[^] I've used it with oracle and it works great.
I will also do reports on a web page in ASP.NET if I need the user to be able to click a line item and either edit it or view details about the data. It kind of depends what the report needs to do, but IMO, and editable report isn't really a report.

Remember that ReportViewer is the easiest way for PDF exportation of data in C# as the support is .NET 2.0 native and no driver/3rd party classes are needed.

Greetings all, I was hoping I could get some simple answers for an interview that I have tomorrow.
Here is the scoop. I am currently in a fair paying job at my company, but am no longer happy with the career path that I chose. I elected to move into IT because I knew that it would be something that I could seek advice about from my peer group. I am currently in classes to be a programmer (C# certification).
I have an interview tomorrow for a business analyst position. It's up in the IT department and I am hoping that it could be a good transition. However, I am extra nervous because I bombed my last interview upstairs (I didn't have the knowledge to do support upstairs, about a year ago).
Can some of you pose questions that you would ask if you were hiring an analyst? I won't answer them on here unless you ask me to, but I don't know what questions are going to be asked of me, and I am woried that I will mess this up if I don't have some questions set up in advance.
Anything you have I will take with gratitude, even if it's negative.
Beginning Programmer - Still learning as much as possible.
