Well, as I said, you are screwed. Welcome to web development. If you don't give the user your js code, they can't run it. You can't protected it. You can obsfucate it, but that's about it, people can still reuse it.
Why did I get a 1 vote for helping you ?

Well, if you're happy to force your users to accept an ActiveX control, and you're willing to assume they will do it ( I never accept ActiveX controls from an unknown site ). I would never use it, but if it solves your problem, I am glad.

you can save the file in js format but in the irregular format ( e.g all the code in one line or use spam code ) ( google do this in the "map" service )

most sites has forms that contains an image that user must read and enter its contents as string to confirm that this form is filled in humanly.
I have my own ideas to apply this issu.
But I would like to know if there is any standard mechanism
any article, sample code
If none, I will be glad to send my own ideas in an article to CP

It's called CAPTCHA. If you google that, you'll find what exists on the subject. There are many libraries, nothign standard AFAIK

The technology which you are talking about is called Captcha. CAPTCHA stands for Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart. There is already an excellent article on making and using a Captcha control right here on codeproject. check it out here:http://www.codeproject.com/KB/custom-controls/CaptchaControl.aspx[^]

Does any1 know what port rss feed goes through?

By default it should be port 80 until Server is configured to run HTTP connections from a different port.

It's just text, create it however you like. You can use the DOM ( XmlDocument ), the Xml streaming classes, or even a stringbuilder or just a static string

Hello all,
I am developing a application in which user a is taking a survey.Survey contain a number of question. Number of question are not fixed.I am displaying 10 question on each page and on last page or survey i need to display summery of all question and answer that user has selected.Because i don't know number of question a survey has contain where should i redirect to user when he click on next link. A survey may also contain 5 question then in that case next page should be summery or it also contain 50 question so in that case after 5 page 6th page should be summery page. So anybody can tell me how should resolve the problem?
I can't use paging to data list because on last page i need to show finish link, which is not displayed on first pages. Starting pages of survey contain Next and Previous link and last page contain Previous and Finish link
Thanks
Rahul

Is someone else doing the same, or have I answered this 4 times now ?
Yes, you CAN use the same page over and over. You just need to work out if you're showing the last page of questions and show your finish link accordingly.

I have posted this question first time.
Can you tell me how can i use the same page again and again?
any link, reference or some information?
When user click on previous link then he must see previous page question and radio button list option selected if he select some option.

OK - I've been answering someone else on the same front. That's cool.
I'd have a single page to show questions, a stored proc that returns questions a page at a time, and store what answers were given in the viewstate, so if the user goes back and forth, you can reset the answers. The stored proc should always return how many pages are in the set of questions, so that you can tell when you're viewing the last page.

In your last reply you have told that i can use same page over and over. If my query return 45 rows then as per my requirement i need to display 10 questions on each page.
How can i use same page for displaying all question.
On page load i have displayed 10 question when user click on next link then i fetch next 10 question from db and bind to same data list and when he click on previous then again can i bind the first 10 question.
can i do this way. Is it correct?

rahul.net11 wrote: How can i use same page for displaying all question.
Because each time the page index increases, you ask for the next page of data from your data source, and bind it to the same control that renders the new questions same as the old ones.
rahul.net11 wrote: can i do this way. Is it correct?
Yes, the trick is, you need to store all the answers you were given, and as you're going back to the same page over and over, you can do that in viewstate instead of having to use the session
