Ok, so have you tried the one available in the resource toolbox?

how many times are you going to post that huge amount of code ?
can't you
1. follow the same thread ?
2. reduce the code to a readable sample ?
3. don't break the page formatting with your too wide lines ?
4. just read the posting guidelines ?

hi~
I have a printer. epson tm-u120.
And i have the esc command document. But i do not know how to use it in VC
Should i send the command to the computer's serial port directly?
Is correct?I use the ComSerial class.
The line-feed command is 'lf' and in hexadecimal is '0a',
if i want the printer to print 'hello word',
what should i send to the serial port?
Sorry, the printer is not here,so i can not try it.
Thank you for your help!

Hi,
i have made a mfc-project in Visual Studio 2008. I want to change the used MFC Version from Version 9 to Version 8.
Is this possible? If it is, may be someone can tell me how?
Thank you.
Jens.

This version of VS comes with MFC lib version 9.0, for previous version you need to go to VS2005.
Why you are not using VS2005 then?

Ok.
I thought there is a way to use a MFC Version below 9 in Visual Studio 2008.
But it seems that there is no way to do this.
Then i have to use Visual Studio 2005.
Thank you for your help.

I'm using Visual C++ 6.0 I created a simple dialog box with ID called IDD_Test. It simply contains a some static text and a text edit box. I'm doing an SDI application. I would like to display this dialog when the program starts, but I don't understand how to go about doing this.
Thanks ahead of time

You may like to select "Dialog based application" option while creating new project, instead of SDI.

Hint: This sounds like a "splash screen."

Do you wan to show dialog box or you to have a dialogbox program?
|
|
|

I have an SDI program (visual C++ 6.0). When the program starts I want to put up to put up a dialog window that displays a message to the user and the user enters some data, and then clicks ok. I know how to setup this "box" but I don't understand how to get it displayed initially.
Thanks

Hi,
i am trying to open HDD driver using createfile() API.
API return code is 0x00000020 (The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.).
hSmartDriver = CreateFile( "\\\\.\\PhysicalDrive0", GENERIC_READ,| GENERIC_WRITE, FILE_SHARE_READ, NULL,
OPEN_EXISTING, 0,
NULL
);
purpose of opening this driver is to read the firmware version of HDD by using DeviceIO control "DFP_RECEIVE_DRIVE_DATA".

Have you tried without the write access?

Hello,
I made a win 32 mfc console application it works fine on my computer but if I try to run it from another one (same windows with same visual studio and same framework installed ) it doesn't work. I got this message :
This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect
Note I didn't use any dll created by me just some lib from windows.
My project configuration is active debug and platform active win32.
I think is something wrong with DLL's
Can some one help me with a clue and maybe a point to start.
Tnx

What happens if you compile the application on that other computer?

Are you at same level as far as VS is considered, I mean, some patches, service packs or redistributables.
|
|
|
|
|
yes is the same level
but from what i know mfc is platform independent he don't need any framework and any vc++ installed...
