I have to convert a color image to black and white using opencv.I used the following code.It didn't work.Is there any error in it?

You can use of BitBlt for it,of course you must dont think it directly convert your color image to black and white.
for your code did you check return values?

Yes. Both are equally good to identify a system. No two motherboards or CPU will have the same serial number / ID. Use whichever is easier to you. You might want to use them both together as well.

No. you can use the Win32 WMI classes to get the hardware information. May be this[^] article can help you.

A timer (callback) runs in the thread that called SetTimer.
OnTimer is a CWnd method, therefore it runs in the context of a GUI thread.
