Well you can add them into a document that has html code in it but if you put an asp.net control in a page you have to have an extension of .aspx for that page

Given that i now understand the above points can you point me at a tutorial or the likes that explains how this might be achieved?
Or at least what i should be searching google for as i couldn't dig anything out but i might just not have been using the key phrase that i needed to!

Hi,
I am new to this. I dont know whether I am posting this in the correct forum or not. But pls take some time to read this. I am starting to do a new project which is a sort of data entry application. The template for the data entry is very big. It has 21 columns and more than 300 rows. The template will be something like this:
EXP1 EXP2 EXP3 EXP4 EXP5 EXP6 EXP7 EXP8 ... EXP21
COMPANY1
PROD1
PROD2
PROD3
PROD4
COMPANY2
PROD1
PROD2
PROD3
PROD4
...
COMPANY3

..
where exp1,exp2,exp3.. are different expenditures for the product in the company. I have to load this template on every form load and save the details in the database. I am wondering how can we do this. What would be the best way to acheive this functionality in ASP.NET.
Any suggestions of yours is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time and help.

can anybody tell me using c#.net to create advanced search like all words, anywords, and exact word, if i have to search in 5-6 tables, means if i give "red" in search text box then how can i search red in 5-6 tables and i dont know which column contains the word red.

Actually , i am making a car website like cars.com, and i have seen in cars.com they allow search on keywords, I too want to implement that feature but how can i, bcoz i have normalized the features of car into 5-6 tables and i want to search it in that 5-6 tables.

Better option would be to keep an index table. This index table should be updated by taking all values that need to be searched. Index table should be filled when new records are added to the original table. Now you can easily do searching in this index table.

Yes. That will be an easy solution. This table should contain a key to which you can use to retrieve the real information from respective table.
