It looks like your request is stopping after the . so you need to find a way of bypassing that and include it as a normal character

i have a treeview where i kept in the update panel .upto this is fine but the problem wen i clicked the treeview for the first time it is not firing .the treview node is firing for the second time.. how this problem will be solved

So you are saying you need to double click to get it to work?
Try taking it out of the update panel and see if that makes a difference.
It could be that the update panel expects an event to be fired and then for something to happen after

hi netman the problem is for the first time it is not firing means suppose there are five nodes in a treeview if u click on the first node for the first time it is not firing from second time means later wen we click on any node it is firing .

Hi all,
I have a form where i capture some data that needs to be inserted into a main table and child table. These two have primary and foreign key relationships.For saving this type of data i wrote the following function
sub SomeFN()

Now since sometimes we are experiencing fluctuating internet,it happens that only main entry is saved, the details are not saved. This problem is not for every time. Also when i retry making the same entry later it gets saved(suggests that there no incorrect data due to which the data was not saved). Is it so that the connection gets broken when the control comes to for loop.Any ideas????

Both Save Master and Save Detail Should be one Transaction, so that if any of one fails then it should automatically Rollback.
Event execution is not depends upon internet connection. When even user send request to server it process by server at onces, and after that all processed data return back to client browser.

Since the stored proc used for inserting main and details are diff, i can`t use transaction. But i have a facility of using the Sqlcommands Transaction though.I have to use for loop to loop thriough the detail items. Is there any method where we can insert all the main as well as details at one go into the table.

when I am deleting physical folder from application using bellow code then control going in Session_End in global.asax so page is redirecting to login page again means logout

Hi All,
I have partially completed my project using the form authentication.
I have used a single login form for two type of user says "Producer" and "Dealer". and set the web.config as :
<authentication mode="Forms">
<forms loginurl="Login.aspx" defaulturl="DecideLogin.aspx" name="authCookie" timeout="30" path="/">
Once the user will logged he will redirect to "DecideLogin.aspx" where i am redirect to suitable directory along user role(Dealer,Producer)
above is all about which i have done
Requirement:
I have need to keep the layout "Login.aspx" suitable to both but the content and menus are different for both the users.so i want to keep the two different login form for both.
suppose i will keep the to two login form, then how could i manage the loginurl once the session will exprired.
Once the session will expire on which page user will redirect and how?

Hi Dear,
I am just suggesting you, not to make two login page, if you have such type of requirement then make two master pages(set user controls and menus accordingly) and in runtime try to change the master page accoring to user type (Dealer , Producer).
Sample code is just for yr reference
Protected Sub Page_PreInit(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Me.PreInit
If userType = "Dealer" Then
Me.MasterPageFile = "Dealer.master"
Else
'Default for for Producer
Me.MasterPageFile = "Producer.master"
End If
End Sub
You can only change master page in Page_PreInit Event.

Like the above post I agree
It would be better just to change the styles through the code rather then have to different login pages.
Then you can just use one tag in the web config file and just change the style depending on which user is logged in
