Hi coders !!!
I have a form in which i have to take input from the users.
The Application has a 4 fields like QTY , PART number and Price.
Now i have a "add more" button which adds this check box ,blank text box , drop down box and a text box in a line. And users are supposed to fill in the data.
I also have "remove" which deletes the line(check box, qty,partid,price) if the check box is checked.
If i dont deleted the data and keep on the add the lines in the form i dont have any problem. But if i add 15 lines and try to delete the 9th line using the remove button. I face a problem
The problem is after submitting the form , only the lines 1-9 are submitted and lines 11-15 dont appear on the next page. But the total calculation of the price considers all the line prices from 1-15 including the 10 line price.
How can i update the array so that all the lines which are not deleted can be passed on to the next form.
this is my problem , also this code only works in a Firefox browser.
How can i make it work in all the browsers ?
regards
borades

Ok,
I know this may not be the right place for this, but I thought I'd ask around anyway, Apologies if this is inaprpriate.
I'm trying to integrate URLRewriter.Net into my website. This I have so far done without any issues, creating custom transfers etc to retreive data from my dB depending on Id's in my querystrings.
However, I obviously need the site to work with the original URL's as well as my new 'pretty' ones.
I want to set up a 301 redirect from the old url's, my current attempt at a rule is below:
<code><redirect url="^~/Product/Product.aspx?(WebShopCodeStr=[\w]+&+WebSegmentCodeStr=[\w]+&+WebCategoryCodeStr=[\w]+&+StyleCodeStr=[\w]+)$" to="~/Product/${getwebShopDesc:$1}/${getWebSegmentDesc:$2}/${getWebCategoryDesc:$3}/${getStyleDesc:$4}" /></code>
This looks at the old URL (most likely cached in search engine etc) and (should) redirect to my new one.
Has anyone else used this tool and done this themselves, I've tried a few combinations but nothing seems to work.
Any help would be really really appreciated.
Many thanks
Mark

Hi,
I have an issue regarding the fact that, although in explorer looks perfect, in mozilla 2 rows of a html table are rendered together.In mozilla the row before those 2 seems to have a few extra lines(although i don't see any extra in the source).One of the rows rendered together has a checkbox and if i click it twice(which results in displaying and hiding a panel), then shows perfectly.I've compared the sourcesbefore and after clicking the checkbox and are identical.
Any ideas?
Thank you

Browsers are not standard, not compatible, never have been, probably never will be. Everyone (except apparently you) knows this.

I guess you just needed to post something.What if i skipped the IE part and asked only the mozilla one?I was just underlining that i don't have this issue in IE(rendering one row over another and after i click a checkbox that runs js to show/hide a panel doesn't have that rendering issue like on first page load ).But whatever..
I changed the title to avoid more people getting confused

I guess you thought it was obvious from your post that you had a clue about what you were doing, it wasn't.

Does "compared the sources" mean "View Source"? If so that will always display the original source loaded, it will not reflect dynamic script changes.
Have you tried debugging? Another thing I might try would be to attempt to reproduce the problem in a very small research page. By very small I mean the smallest about of HTML/Javascript required to reproduce the problem. Sometimes you discover the problem redeveloping it. If not it is far easier to research in a small page.
If you figure it out post it back here for others to find. Good luck.

Tried debugging but i can't see anything wrong.I guess all i can do is rewrite.
Thank you, i'll try to be more explicit on other questions.

Let me redefine the problem and the solution.
Problem: I have 2 rows that are rendered together over a third one in mozilla but not in explorer.
Solution: Those 3 rows are contained in an asp:Panel that contains more rows and also contains another asp:Panel with rows.I made the first asp:Panel a span also running on server and that seem to do the trick.

Wow, so you didn't think telling us you were using ASP.NET was an important piece of information?

I am developing ASP website. Its website of at about 1000 products with shopping cart and CMS. Our client want to add his products at his end. That I did, By providing him a module to add product, and sending product details to DB.
But he want to create new page(preferrably HTML Page) for each and every product for promotion purpose. Means whenever he add new product through provided module new page should be created automatically.
Anyone can suggest how to do this.

How about a data driven page? Unless you specifically need to create an HTML page just post the data from the database onto a standard page.

Hi People,
I have an ACE placed on a user control.
If no matching results are found for the criteria supplied I display --> No match found. Please select the item that matches your field of expertise.
This is a bit late and maybe less intuitive.
What I would like is to place a non selectable item in the result list at the very bottom. It would say --> Please select the item that matches your field of expertise.
The result list would then look like this below.
Finance
Clerk
Developer
Trader
Retail
etc
--------------------
Please select the item that matches your field of expertise
Is this possible at all?
Many thanks

Hi, I wrote this script which is basically a timer, but I get the error: txtTime has no properties in the line:
var colonIndex = txtTime.indexOf(':',0);
The code listing is here:
function HandleTimer()<br />
{<br />
var CurTime;<br />
var PM = 0;<br />
var currentTime = new Date()<br />
var hours = currentTime.getHours()<br />
var minutes = currentTime.getMinutes()<br />
if (minutes < 10)<br />
minutes = "0" + minutes<br />
<br />
if(hours > 11)<br />
{<br />
PM = 1; <br />
}<br />
<br />
if(hours > 12)<br />
{ <br />
hours = hours - 12; <br />
}<br />
CurTime = hours + ":" + minutes + " "<br />
if( PM == 1 )<br />
CurTime += "PM"<br />
else<br />
CurTime += "AM"<br />
<br />
var lblCurrentTime = document.getElementById('lblCurrentTime');<br />
var ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_RemainingTime = document.getElementById('ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_RemainingTime');<br />
<br />
lblCurrentTime.innerText = CurTime;<br />
<br />
var seconds = 0;<br />
var mins = 0;<br />
var txtTime = ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_RemainingTime.innerText;<br />
if(txtTime == 'Time Up!' || txtTime == '')<br />
return;<br />
var colonIndex = txtTime.indexOf(':',0); <br />
var strMin = txtTime.substr(0, colonIndex);<br />
var strSec = txtTime.substr(colonIndex + 1, 2);<br />
if(strSec.charAt(0) == '0')<br />
seconds = parseInt(strSec.charAt(1));<br />
else<br />
seconds = parseInt(strSec);<br />
mins = parseInt(strMin);<br />
<br />
<br />
if(seconds == 0 && mins == 0)<br />
{<br />
__doPostBack('ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_btnNext','')<br />
}<br />
else if(strSec == "00" && mins > 0)<br />
{<br />
seconds = 59;<br />
mins--;<br />
}<br />
else<br />
{<br />
seconds--;<br />
}<br />
if(seconds < 10)<br />
ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_RemainingTime.innerText = mins +':' + '0' + seconds;<br />
else<br />
ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_RemainingTime.innerText = mins +':' + seconds;<br />
<br />
setTimeout("HandleTimer();",1000);<br />
<br />
}
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Mohammad
