Hi,
I have an asp.net 3.5 app, and it calls an external web service and passes it a callback url. This works fine except when the webservice has an error and messes up the callback url, so that the response they should send to the callback url is sent to a faluty url as they've messed up the callback url we gave them.
How should I handle this error? In 1.1, I have handled similar problems using webhandlers so that when the response comes in comes to our server with a faulty url, the webhandler redirects it to some place that makes sense. Is this still the way to handle this in asp.net 3.5. Or is there a better way?
Also, I need to save the callback url somewhere so that after we get the response with the faulty url, we redirect to the correct callback url. But where should I store this? If I use a webhandler and store the callback url in the session, can the webhandler access it?
Thanks.

How to get colors from image. Ex. If one Image contain some Red,Green & Blue portion then I need these three colors name/hex code/rgb code.

I can't tell you how to do that in code. But there is a firefox addOn called ColorZilla that will display the hex and rgb when you put the cursor over something displayed in the browser.

The GetPixel method returns a Color structure, which has the R , G and B properties.

Hi All,
I have a repeater that uses an XML file as its datasource.
I want to add 2 of the retrieved values.
How would i do this without messing with the DataSet in code behind?
<ItemTemplate>
<td>
<%# DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "ISLTournamentBuyIn")%> + <%# DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "ISLTournamentFee")%>
</td>
</ItemTemplate>
Thanks.

The easiest way to do this would be to get a data table from the dataset, add two new rows and bind the repeater. That way you aren't changing the dataset but you are getting the results you want.

Hi Todd,
Thanks for your response.
While your solution is one that will work i eventually found a way to do it all front end
<ItemTemplate>
<td><%#(Convert.ToInt32(Eval("Column1")) +Convert.ToInt32(Eval("Column2"))/100)%></td>
</ItemTemplate>
Thanks again.

Hi, I'm using ASP.NET cache in my web application, I cache objects with sliding expiration, is there anyway I could access an object without causing the sliding expiration to be reset? (something like peek instead of get), I need to do this in some parts of my application, it's really annoying that there's no something like peek!

I am writing a Survey that is going to be sent out to users Via Email that is being Generated from my ASP.Net 2.0 application.
I want to have the link that the user opens up be the equivalent of a PopupWindow in the respect to the fact that they can do nothing related to the browser because everything but the content of the page is hidden.
I am not figuring out how to accomplish this and would like some input please.
Thank you.
