What's a "projection histogram of binary image" ? google tells me it's related to "image registration" (alignment of two or more images)
but what are you wanting to smooth ?
This signature was proudly tested on animals.

i have read one journal paper, they said, first get projection histogram which are obtained by counting the number of black pixels on the binary image, then smoothing is performed to the histogram. so i want to know how to smooth this histogram?thanks

How can I make my modal dialog to close and return an id defined by me (IDBACK) when the user clicks on a third button I've added (<<Back)??
Ignore me please, I've found a solution with void EndDialog(int nResult)
Thank you!
