After opening the key with RegOpenKeyEx you can use
LONG RegEnumKeyEx(
HKEY hKey,
DWORD dwIndex,
LPTSTR lpName,
LPDWORD lpcName,
LPDWORD lpReserved,
LPTSTR lpClass,
LPDWORD lpcClass,
PFILETIME lpftLastWriteTime
);

simply add ON_UPDATE_COMMAND_UI event handler for that menu item.
and disable menu item. like pCmdUI->Enable(FALSE);
For eg: in your view class in message map add:
ON_UPDATE_COMMAND_UI(ID_FILE_NEW,Test);
and define test as Test(CCmdUI* pCmdUI); in the header file.
in the cpp file for your view use
CMyView::Test(CCmdUI* pCmdUI){pCmdUI->Enable(false);}

It is so difficult to use single function for single Menu item.
I want to create a function where i can enable and disable more then one menu item.
Please tell about this.

Then use ON_UPDATE_COMMAND_UI_RANGE[^].
Or use the wizard to create the code for the handlers...

The SetSystemTime function sets the current system time and date. The system time is expressed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC

Hello everyone,
If I only know the binary address of an instruction of a current process, for example, address 0x12345678, is it possible to print stack trace from the root caller to the specific address using WinDbg or some other tools?
thanks in advance,
George

Mr G George,
If you go to general programming, then thread, processes, & IPC, the first article there is called "walking the call stack". It sounds good for you.

Thanks Iain,
Great article. My further question is, if there is an arbitrary address (e.g. 0x12345678), how to check whether it is code or data or stack? Any command to display the information (suppose I have symbol file) in the arbitrary address?
regards,
George

stack trace is a report of active stack frames and shows where that error occurs I think now you want to get this report of an address?

Thanks Hamid,
My problem is,
1. My application breaks (e.g. uncaught exception) and report the breaking address is 0x12345678;
2. I want to know what code are executed at 0x12345678, and what are the call stack from bottom to address 0x12345678?
Any ideas?
regards,
George
