hai all,
i am using .net 2005.i do my project in vb.net windows application.i have 2 listbox named as connolistbox and lotnolistbox.
i displayed the lotnos datas automatically in lotnolistbox based on i selected conno in connolistbox.
i want to do like,
if i removed all lotnos from lotnolistbox means that selected conno from connolistbox must be automatically removed.
for example,
i click 'conno101' in connolistbox means the 4 datas are lotno1,lotno2,lotno3,lotno4 are automatically displayed in lotnolistbox.
then i remove 4 datas are lotno1,lotno2,lotno3,lotno4.
now lotnolistbox is clear.when lotnolistbox clear means the 'conno101' must be automatically removed from connolistbox.
if lotnolistbox not clear means the 'conno101' must be there in connolistbox.

Is there a way to determine how many rows exist in the statusstrip control when the layout style = flow?
Example: you have a status strip control at the bottom of the form which contains 10 or so status labels. When the form is maximized, the labels look fine. When the form is resized, the status strip adds a second row to push some of the labels down that no longer fit on the first row.

Hi,
If everything else fails, you could divide the status strip height by the smallest value
it ever had.

We have an old VB6 App that displays an image using the image control. The client claims that they could previously right-click on the control and select "Print" (there's no code for that). It's not there anymore.
Does anybody know whether there was functionality built into the control that was maybe removed by a service pack ? Doesn't sound right to me.

They are probably confusing the app with a browser

If you copy your SQL query and run it in a Query Window (such as SQL Server Query Analyser) does it return data? If your report works fine when you get data from a single table, I would suggest that there's something wrong with your query and/or table links when using multiple tables.

hi,
Make a query/View(which contains record from multiple table) in database which is same to the query which is you supplied at run time. Now create a dataset from Data source configuration Wizard and select this Query/View and then design the crystal report according to this query/view(by setting the database expert to dataset which you created from Data source configuration Wizard)
hope this helps

Hi,
Here is the procedure for saving the image to the DataBase using SQL Server:
1. Get the content length of the image that is to be uploaded
2. Create a byte[] to store the image
3. Read the input stream of the posted file
4. Create a connection object
5. Open the connection object
6. Create a command object
7. Add parameters to the command object
8. Execute the sql command using the ExecuteNonQuery method of the command object
9. Close the connection object.
You may refer to this[^] article for more information on this.
Hope this helps.

In XL, if you hide a sheet (or sheets) in a workbook, it means the USER cannot see them, but does it mean the macros and Forms can't see them as well?
I am running a purchase order system, and want the data tables to be unseen by other users, they access only the PO itself and the Index List, but as soon as I hide the sheets, BANG, lots of crashes!
I don't know what to do, except leave the sheets visible.
Any suggestions?

The sheets are all available to your macro... check that you are not referencing ActiveSheet - substitute with Sheets("SheetName").

I got a vb service that does not want to do IO. It works fine in my test environment but when I deploy it, it doesn't seem to want to do the IO part of its task. Does anybody know why?

This may seem a little obvious, but without the code in front of me, well...
Are you declaring System.IO within the code?
I ask only because I was caught out on this before!
