Try this:
CMenu* menu=GetSystemMenu (false);
menu->EnableMenuItem(1, MF_BYPOSITION | MF_GRAYED);
Somethings seem HARD to do, until we know how to do them.

Hi,
We have an VC++ 6.0 application that runs continuously as a service for many hours and then crashes. We are unable to pinpoint the specific place in the code where the app. is crashing. On the last run however, I have got a stack back trace using a standard debugger.
Can anyone help me read this output please?
Application exception occurred:

The "Stack Back Trace" section is probably the most useful.
It shows the nested function calls at the point of the crash.
Any of those function calls look familiar?
I personally would attach the debugger to the running service
(a debug version) so I could see the source of the error immediately.

Develop a windows based “Calculator” application. This application is similar to windows Calculator. You have to make all buttons functional as shown in screen shot. If “+” button clicked, it must be adding the values shown in the edit control and so on.
Develop your project using Microsoft VC++.

you didn't even bother to read the forum rules and posted your school/college assignment here.
Start somewhere and then if you need help someone here may help you....

1) Read the posting guidelines
2) we don't do homeworks
3) if you can't do your assignment yourself, then you're probably on the wrong way and you should consider study something else than programming.

Done. However, I couldn't get multiplication to work so I just used addition instead. I also could not get division to work so I just used subtraction a bunch. For some reason, subtraction looked questionable so I just added negative numbers instead.
Tell me where you want this "adder" shipped.
