Hi in my image click i am hiding one TD column in my table and assigning another image url to my image...,
Everything working fine...,
But After hide if i click the changed image it have to show the TD column...,Its not working fine....,
How to do that...,
This is my code for hiding the TD column:

Instead of document.getElementById('LeftTD').style.display='block';
Have you tried:
document.getElementById('LeftTD').style.display='table-cell';

hi all,
I used this site a reference for many thing . I got answers from other,s post itself .Rarely i posted questions
Now i am facing a problem . I were using module variables in application .Now we chnaging to session varibles
I am using an object of a class in each webpage . since i dont want to declare that object in each function i am declaring at the form level
when i was using module variable it was not giving any error
i changed it to session variable . Now it s giving an error
error is pasted below
Session state can only be used when enableSessionState is set to true, either in a configuration file or in the Page directive. Please also make sure that System.Web.SessionStateModule or a custom session state module is included in the <configuration>\<system.web>\<httpModules> section in the application configuration.
so i added EnableSessionState="True" to page directive . then also it is giving error

No. When the Page object is created it's too early to use Session variables, as it's determined later if the page is sessionless or not.

Hi All,
In a .aspx page i run some heavy javascript code that takes 7-10 seconds to be completed,before starting
this processing i display a .gif image,In this image a dot automatically rotates.This image shows the user that
processing is being done and he should wait.Rotation of dot is in-built in this image.
But when javascript code runs,in image this dot stops rotating.
i just know that this happens due to heavy javascript code.
Please provide some solution or some other alternative.

The event for button click on my firstpage.aspx:

page load event:

log out button click event of second.aspx:

Code is working and i am redirected to firstpage.aspx after clicking log out button but when i am clicking back button of browser i can also access second.aspx which i dont want.What should i do to restrict the access of the second page after logging out???

Check whether u can access the controls of secondpage.aspx after logout or u just see the page.
I think if you try to access any control of secondpage.aspx, u'll be redirected to firstpage.aspx and will be asked for username & password.

If you are not already using it, I highly recommend the asp.net login control.
Its very good and allows you to do lots of things such as the above.

One thing you can do:On clientclick of Logout button clear the window.history".It'll solve your problem

but in my program i am checking my users with their userid and password from sql server database so login control i think is out of scope.Second, After authentication i am maintaining the session but unable to log off what could be the solution?

Error Msg panel is not coming when updatePanel is applied on page else it is showing.Error msg is like pop up on a page.

I have no clue what you are trying to say here.
Let me try and reword it a bit better.
When you add an UpdatePanel to the page, your MsgPanel is not being showed and the MsgPanel is works like a popup, to show a error.
Is this what you are trying to say????

Hi,I am developing an webpage which runs on a barcode scanner.There I have given one TextBox in which the scanned input will come.I want the cursor to be moved automatically to the next control as soon as the scanning is complete.Right now,the user scans and then presses Tab key to go to the next control.

Hi,
I am creating a website that will allow users to create their own mini-site with customisable content and a choice of simple designs.
My problem is that i need to allow the user / customer to choose the design/layout for their site and can be changed as and when they require. Thus when a 3rd party visit the users/customers site they see it as the design the user selected from their admin.
What is the best way to do this?
The only info i can find on this matter would suggest using a MasterPage for all pages and then using themes to position and colour page elements via css.
This however seems a little cumbersome, and difficult to maintain. I imagine it would be easier if the MasterPage for a given page could be determined at run-time, although i guess the need to compile a site (and select the masterpage before the code is run), would make this impossible?
Or can you select MasterPages via Theming??
Any help would be greatly received.
