We're using the standard javascript confirm dialog which only offers OK/Cancel, not Yes/No.
We could spend some time rolling our own and testing it on all browsers and making sure it doesn't cause problems like inadvertantly run rampant and mark all your messages as abusive, and the messages of your friends, family and anyone who has had any business dealings with you...
But I reckon for the purpose at hand it's a reasonable solution based on the estimate return on investment.

Good point. I think the new icon is the simplest form of unread, whether it gets clicked on or not.
However, what I would like to see is instead of just a list of all of one's posted messages from newest to oldest (with a new icon for new), that same list but with a way to tell which thread has a new post directly under it. A double sort may not be right here, but another icon, to imply that a new (icon) thread to your message has been posted, would be nice.
Would that be feasible?

I think it will be useful to have a comment box for bookmarks, so we can annotate in our own words, what an articles talks about, or where can be apply it.
Also will be useful for authors as a remainder for future enhacements to the article.
When looking at the "Actions" in bookmarks list, there can be an extra option: "Add comment"
I think could be enough to be single-line textbox.
Also, when just bookmarking an article, a message appear telling first "Please wait" and then "article bookmarked", there you can put also a link: "Add comment" to invoke the same functionality.
I am not sure if the word "comment" is the best, maybe it will be confused with the articles messages, so maybe "annotation" will be better.

You could always just do a blog on your profile page. I do so, and it is for my leisure but others are welcome to see what I find interesting about the article in question.

The blog is a bad trick, it is a public space and totally unrelated to the bookmark feature, some times you want to reserve your comments/annotations to yourself, but still store in the proper place.
Also, blog comments cannot be edited.

Would it be possible to include the "Quote selected text" button in other browsers apart from IE? I use Opera and it isn't displayed there and it is a very useful feature

I can't seem to load it properly. So far it's the only one I have seen this behavior. It seems to load but then in a few seconds the page is overwritten and only like two lines of HMTL are rendered in the top left corner
