Thanks works fine buddy.
But when the textboxes are directly placed on the form, there is no problem. But if textboxes are used with DataGrid,[textbox is bound with grid] then the method is a flaw.
Because during run time, the records are inserted in grid. Thus textbox is not bound with the property. Plz advice me.

i am using .net 2005.i do my project in asp.net.
My project title is master log attendance.
our project is mainly used for see the employee attendance details.
i want to put 'x' at date field in datagrid.
here 'x' means present.
date field will displayed as what we select from date and to date.
i am using 2 tables.first table name as emp_details contain 2 field names as emp_id,emp_name.
second table name as attendance contain 2 field names as emp_id,date.
employees are put attendance daily.
in web form i keep emp_name,from date,to date.
i select emp_name,from date and todate.
in following example i use dash(-) for space.
for (ex):
in emp_details table,
values are
emp_id---emp_name
--11-------ashok
--12-------ramu
in attendance table,
values are
emp_id----date
--11-----05-06-08
--11-----06-06-08
--11-----09-06-08
--12-----05-06-08
--12-----07-06-08
i select emp_name as ashok,from date as 05-06-2008,to date as 09-06-2008 means
i want to display 'x' in date available in table for that selected name as ashok.
emp_id--name----05-06-2008---06-06-2008 --07-06-2008 --08-06-2008 --09-06-2008

Hi there,
I've just done some work to update a web project and at deployment time i moved it to a 2k3 server box. I've been getting loads of Interop errors and I don't seem to be able to get to the bottom of what's causing them. This is the error message:
System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException: Creating an instance of the COM component with CLSID {6D52994B-FDB5-4E5F-96DA-C243B8B42CF5} from the IClassFactory failed due to the following error: 800a0030.
Just to check that i had deployed everything, I published the project to the old server and registered the new version of the dll and it runs fine on that machine.
Is there a security issue with running com components out of iis these days? I've done a fair few searches for things like "asp iis interop security" etc and don't seem to get anything back.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,

I don't know much about COM Exceptions but error message 800a0030 usually means that the application is busy. I don't know about error code
6D52994B-FDB5-4E5F-96DA-C243B8B42CF5.
You can check following things
1. Reboot the server and start the application, If you get same error open Task Manager and check all process might be your COM process is running.
2. Might be the COM dll you are using in the application is not properly installed in this server.
Are you using EXCEL Object ?

6D52994B-FDB5-4E5F-96DA-C243B8B42CF5 is the guid for the com component that i'm trying to call. It's registered properly and a registry search for the clsid shows the correct path to the dll.
I've tested a few methods on the dll by using vbscript on the desktop and it works fine, it's just the IIS environment where it doesn't work. Rebooting the server isn't an option

I am using modal popup extender.
the popupcontrol is a panel with an update panel inside.
In here is cancel or save button.
Cancel takes the user back to the page but save should take the user to another page.

You need to add onclick event from code behind.
E.g. btnOK.Attributes.Add("onClick", "return done();");
btnOk is id of the button placed inside the panel.

I have just figured out the problem and the solution is something that no one has suggested but may be very useful for any1 in the future. Might even write an article about using modal popup with button inside which requires onclick event.
I had to include UseSubmitBehavior="false" in the button which had the onclick
hope this helps someone in the future.

The database server is in the another machine and when i run the asp page from that particular machine, everything works fine
BUT when i run the asp page from localhost, it gives the error:
Driver's SQLAllocHandle on SQL_HANDLE_ENV failed
