Hi,
I have ReportViewer Control in Asp.Net page that access one SSRS report from report server "XXX".
I configured report path and report url and its working fine in local machine.
But its giving Access Denied Error when we try to access the page from other machines as follows:
"The request failed with HTTP status 401: Access Denied."
Scenario:
We deployed the ASP.Net application in machine "A", accessing the application from machine "B". And the SSRS report is deployed in Report server machine "C". When we open the application in machine A itself all are working fine.
But when we access the application from machine "B", We are able to access the application except the report in the application.
Any ideas to get rid of this error?
Thanks in Advance

You might need to look at Kerberos delegation - you are authenticating yourself with the machine at A, but it needs to be able to bounce your authentication on to the machine at C. If you look at the logs on C, you'll probably find access denied for the network user.

The stuff on w3schools is all going to be as good as it gets, if you don't understand it, perhaps you need a book ?

You can apply a javascript function which returns bool on clientclick of the controls. In that function you can validate the value if its true the it goes to server else you cal show show message and ask to rewrite again.
as
<asp:textbox id="txtServiceNo" runat="server" width="170px" onkeypress="javascript:return Validateit()" xmlns:asp="#unknown">

Then why are you posting in this ASP.NET forum instead of the web developemnt one?
There is no end of JavaScript tutorials and examples on the web - just search around til you find some you like. Another good way of learning is to view the source code of web-pages that do the sort of thing you want to achieve.
Study and then come back with any specific questions - but do not expect people here to provide you with fully functional code.
Do your best...

I want a ferrari. Life is like that. If you want a detailed description, buy a book or google for an article. A forum reply is the place for a specific answer, not an overview.

Excellent point, and I second that.

Pick a better subject line, and be a bit more detailed about what you are asking.

No. Does not work like that in these forums. You need to try and do your OWN work and when stuck, ask for help.
