Someone had asked here (http://www.codeproject.com/script/Forums/View.aspx?fid=1641&msg=2669495[^]) about the maximum size of files that can be uploaded for an article in CP. Unfortunately, the article posting guidelines does not seem to be mentioning anything about it.
Can some one help out?

OK, now this guy[^] keeps trolling in the Lounge (and maybe more) and only makes dumb comments. Smells like a Kyle clone and gets on my nerves. Please kick him out (warning before doing could be an option).
Well, I believe he will come back right away under another account, maybe even more "troll" as before, so I reckon this would be useless. Let's ignore him as we did for the others.

I would like to suggest a Print View option to view articles if that is possible.

There already is a print view - look for the little blue Print underneath the article header. Currently the print view is somewhat braindead, since it only allows you to view a portion of the messages. Then you have to hit Next, and you get another view, again including the complete article, which is ridiculous for a print view.

I guess I assumed you were going to do the Download Count first, since that seems to me to be a more reliable gauge of an article's appeal than bookmarks, and (unlike votes) is not dependent on whether the reader feels like doing it.

The issue is that we have over 20,000 articles, and nearly double that in downloads, and we've not been tracking download counts. What we are doing is:
- developing a log scanner that will scan nearly a terabyte of IIS logs to extract historical information and seed the database with the download counts so far
- developing a parser that will strip out the download links in articles and replace the links with a tracking link and download count indicator
- reworking the submission wizard so that downloads are no longer explicitely included in the text, but instead included automatically using the above control
This is a fairly big job, but most of it has been done. Just need to get some breathing space to finish it up.
