Your question is not clear. Why do you want to cast something which is not mailmessage to MailMessage ?
|
|
|
|
|
You need to create a static method on your MailMessage class that tells the framework how to convert a lotes message to the MailMessage that you've created.
public static explicit operator MailMessage(NotesDocument nDoc)
{
//add your conversion code here
}

Shift + Tab is the key to go back to the previous focus. I am not sure, but it will be something like
SendKeys.Send("+{TAB}")

Thanks man, it works!!!

Here are some methods that you can use
SelectNextControl
GetNextControl
I don't know if they will scroll the form to the control or not. Use the ScrollControlIntoView method to scroll to the desired control.

Hi,
I'm finishing(some small issues to solve) c# RTP implementation, off course compiled dll can be used in vb.net too.
Before releasing all code in codeproject, i'm looking testers, also if some volunteers to write some docs or contributing in coming article, let me know.

Hi
I would be willing to test this for you. I have extensive experience in VoIP protocols and would be happy to test it.

Hello Everyone,
I am working on window bases multi language application. I would like to add input language programmatically like Japanese / Hindi under Control Panel -> Regional and Language settings. ( User don't want to add language manually).
Is anyone have idea how to achieve this.
Thanks & Regards,
Kumar

I think you'll find that the language support has to be installed. There's a whole load of code pages and things thtat different langauges need. So unless they are fully installed, they can't properly be installed.
Japanese, specifically, I know needs special fonts as well and everything needs to be unicode based for it to work.
Panic, Chaos, Destruction.
My work here is done.

I have installed languages but for add as input language I have to use control panel and add manually. I want on selection of language if input keyboard is not configured then programmatically it should add keyboard for that language.
Thanks in adavance.

Hi all,
I read a file and send streams to another method. It's working fine. But all messages are feeding very quickly. So I want to delay within each message. So I do the following
public void ReadFile()<br />
{<br />
<br />
Thread.Sleep(20);<br />
<br />
AnotherMethod(stream);
}
All those things start on a button click event. Once started the process, my GUI get freeze until finish the process. After that I can drag it and so on. Without the thread I use, there is no any issue.
Can someone tell me what should I do to fix this.
Thanks a lot.
I appreciate your help all the time...

BackgroundWorker[^] to simplify things. Or you can create a background Thread.

Problem is you are running the file streaming and sending in the same thread where UI is hosted. Create a new thread and execute the job on it. If you need to update UI from this thread, use Invoke/BeginInvoke . You can also use BackgroundWorker class which makes all these easy.

Yes, I read more about threads and found that the issue here is working on the same thread in UI and the process. So I have to do the process in background.

Hi all
I have 20 check boxes in my page and i need to fire the checkbox checked event for all check boxes.
Instead of writing the checked event for each and every checkbox is there any way to fire the checked event with only one function.i need to get check box id if it is checked.
I'm doing in C#.Net web application
Thank you.

Write something like this in the constructor or the form's Load event or whatever.
checkBox1.CheckedChanged += checkBox_CheckedChanged
checkBox2.CheckedChanged += checkBox_CheckedChanged
checkBox3.CheckedChanged += checkBox_CheckedChanged
Or you can simply set the CheckedChanged handler function from the Properties window (the Events section) for the checkboxes.
And to know which fired the event, it's the sender argument of the handler.
CheckBox Sender = (CheckBox)sender;

Hello all,
I just found out that I can't bind a DataGridView to an array of DataRows. The reason for wanting an array of DataRows is because I'm performing so very complex filtering that can't be done with the DataTable.DefaultView object. My question is, why does the datagridview accept a dataTable as a dataSource but won't accept an array of dataRows, even though they contain a reference to the dataTable. Is there a way I can create a custom class that implements IListSource and contains datarows from the dataTable? As you well know, an exception is thrown is you try to add a existing row to another dataTable. I want a memory reference instead of the actual values (DataRow.ItemArray) to save memory overhead.
Thanks,
Richard
I've used up all my sick days, so today I'm calling in dead.

Richard Blythe wrote: very complex filtering
Like what? and how are you filtering it?
The reason i ask is becuase the DataView class is built for filtering from a DataSet, and you can bind it to the DataGridView.
If you really cant use the DataView, why not build your own dataSet up with your DataRow[]? something like....
DataTable table = new DataTable;
foreach(DataRow currentRow in myDataRowArray)
{
table.Add(currentRow);
}
DataSet.Add(table);
This was done off the top of my head, it might not be 100% correct but the idea of what you need to do is there
Hope this helps
