Hi.
I've used a flash menu in my web page, but when viewing the page, when mouse goes over the menu a white border appears around the flash, and its buttons are not clickable.
but when once clicked on the menu all become normal. I set the border of it 0, but nothing changed.

Dear Friends,
I am frequently come across error called "System.OutOfMemoryException".
whent this error come I need to restart my server.
I search on google it suggested that iis memory get full.
My concern is what cause this memory get full and how to avoid this error.

Generally the cause of this is:
Reading large data sets into memory.
Creating excessive cache entries.
Uploading or downloading large files.
Excessive use of regular expressions or strings while parsing files.
Excessive view state.
Too much data in session state or too many sessions.
Maybe if you are using Reports it may sometimes eat up the whole memory. Increase the memory of IIS and also do optimisation to your code so that you dont use much of your server space ....

Your application might be written poorly. Some tips
1 - Avoid using DataSet/DataTable for reading data. Use DataReader and fill your custom collection classes.
2 - Use paged results
3 - Always call Dispose method on types which implements IDisposable. You can wrap it inside a using block which calls Dispose automatically when scope ends.

I want to close the web page using window.close(),self.close() etc. they all works in IE but not works in Mozilla.
Note: The page is not a pop up window.

while i m using update query i run properly. but instead of query im using storeprocedure i can not execute it display error like 'invalid sql statement '

The error is thrown from oracle. Please check if the query you have prepared is running
on actual oracle console or not.

Hello all
I am displaying treeview in a dropdownlist using Ajax dropdownextendar control. But i am facing one problem.
When i click on "+" image in treeview for displaying subnodes then at that time it hide the dropdownextendar and when i click on dropdownlist then it shows me nodes and its subnodes.
As per the requirement when i click on "+" in treeview control image it should show me subnodes without postback or dropdownextendar should not hide the content.

C# has no equivalent to WithEvents of VB.
You can work with event handlers instead, like:

m_MediaConnectWatcher.YOUR_EVENT += new EventHandler(YOUR_METHOD);
}

you need to change the YOUR_EVENT to the event you actually want to handle..

In the form load you are just connecting the event to your method...the method will be called just when the event are fired.

Hi friend
I want the updatepanel progress bar to be displyed at absolute center of the page(Horizontal-vertcal centering). It should be done at unknown height and width. Also It should display when i m scrolling the page in a same manner.
Could you help me how to do it whether using javascript / css alone.

iam having a textbox where iam entering some text say user id then after entering the userid in the textbox and if user goes for next control then how can i validate that the user id entered is already there in my db.which event of the textbox works better.

Well, actually in asp.net you don't have an event on the validation of the control like in windows forms, but you can do like the following:
1) Put a custom validator control in your form
2) Set its ControlToValidate to your Textbox
3) Add a function to your code like
protected void ValidateTextboxInDB(object source, ServerValidateEventArgs args)
{
}
4) Bind the event handler to your method like:
<asp:customvalidator id="CustomValidator1" runat="server" xmlns:asp="#unknown">
OnServerValidate="ValidateTextboxInDB"
ControlToValidate="TextBox1"
ErrorMessage="Your error message.">
</asp:customvalidator>

set ur textbox autopostback property to true in the properties pane of ur textbox.
and in the textbox textchange event u can validate the userid against the userid in the DB.This is very simple.
