I think you are referring to a CodeProject MVP. I don't think anyone really calls it VIP (or even treats MVPs as VIPs here)

Yeah -I was suffering from nomenclature slippage - I meant MVP...

And have all their messages and articles down-voted?

I think it would be good if after posting a message (or editing) the page would scroll to the position of the new message automatically, something like an anchor (url#post)

This is just my suggestion.
For Monthly competition CP choose Top 10 Article and voted among them for final winner. It will be better if CP provides some tag to that article which has been sleeted on top 10 or may be top 5. Because only one Article should win prizes and Rest 4 can be marked as Top <number> Article on <month> .
This is one kind of achievement also.
This is just my idea. Please Response.

Works fine on my Blackberry. Just needed to adjust which browser and a few settings. You may have to do the same with the iPhone.

It does load but I wouldn't say it works fine. It's not small-width friendly. Sites like google, gmail, reddit, digg all have mobile specific versions (usually m.domain.com). Could we have a read-only version at m.codeproject.com? Means no UI for posting - just for reading the posts and articles. That'd be awesome.

Yes it does. It detects the Browser as "IPHONE", and Display Mode is "MobileDevice", and down below "Mobile device" is True.

But I would think the message count next to a thread should not include the message itself.

Seconded. I always thought that column should be labeled "Replies" and say "0" if there are no responses to the original message.

Any chance you can hide the filtering when the search results appear? It's annoying to have to scroll down through the list for each page.
|
|
|

Very good suggestion. May be the filtering options can be expanded/collapsed based on clicking the "Use Attribute Filter" check-box.
