"Tag" property is normally used to keep some information about the particular node. I haven't heard about "String Key". Where does this belongs to?

Hi. I've created a new form and inserted a picturebox. Picturebox has a *.Tiff/*.Tif image in it.
The tif image is a multipage image. So, is it possible to move through pages?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, but you'll need to find a third party library or sample to do it, there's no direct support in C#.

Ok, thats not correct. I just found out that u can use GDI+ in C# and can easily, with less than 10 rows of code, create an multipage tiff viewer.
Thanks anyway.

Sounds like it is time for your first article
xacc.ide - now with TabsToSpaces support IronScheme - 1.0 beta 1 - out now! ((lambda (x) `((lambda (x) ,x) ',x)) '`((lambda (x) ,x) ',x))

Heh... good idea. Any tutorials on how an article should look, or should i just look at some and write something simmilar?

Really, good for you! But, you should know something about GDI+ TIF format support. GDI+ doesn't support JPEG compressed TIF images. So, if you someday find that suddenly you can't see any images, you'll know why.
Seriously, find a third party library that offers full support of the TIF specification if you're going to work with TIF files.

Hmm... triend with some Kodak compressed files (the standard) and got some tifs from the net and they've all worked fine. Maybe you've ment fully/highly compressed files. Anyway... works for me - FOR NOW.
Thanks.

Here[^] is the RFC for that protocol. I think you need to understand that and create a program which sends messages in the specified format.
Hope this helps.

Why do you need it to be in the GAC ? That just causes problems with testing deployment. Just browse to the file.

this question especially for Sacha Barber because I learn threading from his article (Beginners Guide To Threading In .NET Part 2 of n).
First Question : how to end / exit thread? From tutorial and MSDN help, I assume that thread is end when the thread function ends. Is this true ?
Before 2nd question, this is my code on worker thread:
public event ReportConversion ReportConversionDone;
...
private void RutinKonversi(object fListobj)
{
...
OnStatusReport(pd);
}
protected void OnStatusReport(ProggressDoneEventArgs e)
{
if (ReportConversionDone != null)
{
ReportConversionDone(this, e);
}
}
This is my code on UI thread for handling thread event:
void conv_ReportConversionDone(object sender, ProggressDoneEventArgs e)
{
if (sender == conv)
{
context.Post(new SendOrPostCallback(delegate(object gakPenting)
{
#region code event handler cross thread
switch (e.ItemToReport)
{
...
}
#endregion
}), null);
}
}
When I try passing data from background thread to UI, By putting breakpoints, I know if the thread is executed once. When I start worker thread for the first time (when application just started), event handler on UI is executed once. But when I start for third times, event handler is executed three times too. My 2nd question is : how to make event handler just executed once whenever worker thread is done. This is the screenshot :
first time[^]
third time I pressed extract[^]
No one can prevent me to learn something

Sounds like the code to start the thread is broken. And if you have a question for an article author, ask in the forum under the article.

When I found breakpoint and run step by step, I know if my thread is running.
Thank's, I move the question in the forum below article

Then this is the wrong place. Article has a discussion board and author will get a notification when new messages are posted.

YES.

You are not showing enough code to answer this.

Hello,
I would like label control with fixed width but length should increase as per the text data. OR run time how can I control label control's width and height depending on text of label control.
Thanks & Regards,
Kumar

Hello Kumar,
If you would like your label's width to increase depending on the text property of the control, simply set the AutoSize property to true.
By default in VS 2008 this property will be set to true

Hi Corayzon,
This I had tried, but it is increasing form width also. I want form width should be fixed like 300 and label's text should be wrap to next line.
Thanks & Regards,
Kumar
