Hello All,
I am very new to wpf, as we are about to decide on some third party controls that give us features like : -
Options to switch over between standard MDI and tabbed display.
Saving the Layout information including the document window layout.
I have tried Actipro:
it does give option to switch between diff views.
but does not give option to save the document layout window details.
Can anyone let me know about some tools which does provide these functionalities.
Thanks in advance

Which effect are you referring too? There are quite a few on that page.

When you click on that image it will flash the detail in a child form way.
I am referring to that form flash effect.

Have a look at my CP article UserControl == DataTemplate (link in my sig)
Specifically:
public static class Animations
{
static Animations()
{
}
public static void Fade(this UIElement control, double sourceOpacity, double targetOpactity, int milliseconds)
{
control.BeginAnimation(UIElement.OpacityProperty,
new DoubleAnimation(sourceOpacity,targetOpactity,
new Duration(TimeSpan.FromMilliseconds(milliseconds))));
}
}

Obviously ignoring the spelling mistake ...

My French is far too rusty to translate it for him. I used to live in Luxembourg, so I learned French while I was there but that was a long time ago.

I've installed VS2008 SP1[^].
Should I install Silverlight tools again ?
|
|
|

VS2008 SP1 does not contain Silverlight tools in any way. You need to install it manually.
Hope that helps.

Hi,
I have a requirement from client where in when they type any text, the related data needs to get filtered. We have implemented a drop down list control with it's IsEditable property set to True. But this provides a "type ahead" functionality & does not filter the relevant typed data.
Do we have any in built control(s) in WPF that will solve the purpose for the above mentioned functionality? If not then any pointers for achieving the above functionality?

Hi,
I am developing WPF custom control. I need unquie control_Id for each Control in the XAML. when a user drags and drops a control into the XAML window , I can generste the unique identifier in the control constuctor. But when a user copy & paste a control. the CtrlID which is generated in the Constructor is overwritten by previous control's(which is copied) CtrlID in the XAML.
e.g. -
<Window x:Class="TestDemo.xml.Window1" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" Title="Window1" Height="600" Width="800" Resources="TestDemo.xml" xmlns:my="clr-namespace:Philips.PmsMip.Private.Tools.Services.FSF.StudioNew.Controls;assembly=Philips.PmsMip.Private.Tools.Services.FSF.StudioNew.Controls">
<Grid>
<big> <my:FSFComboBox Height="23" HorizontalAlignment="Left" Margin="257,202,0,0" VerticalAlignment="Top" Width="120" ControlID="ComboBox633632137614182049" />
<my:FSFComboBox ControlID="ComboBox633632137614182049" Height="23" HorizontalAlignment="Left" Margin="10,10,0,0" VerticalAlignment="Top" Width="120" />
</Grid></big>
</Window>
Is thr any way I can know in constructor or anywhr in custom control's code that this control is being created by Copy an already existing control.
