.NET garbage collector won't run always and you can't predict when it will run. GC.Collect() invokes the garbage collector and forcing for a cleanup. It is not recommended to use it unless you know what you are doing. When GC.Collect() is called, it freezes all executing threads until it finishes. This may degrade your application performance.

Sounds like you need to write some javascript to do what you're trying to explain.

Don't you have a logout button?
nithydurai wrote: .i am closeing the webpage (not using proper logout) store logout time automatically.
Method 1
You need to write code for this in session_end event. If you are using InProc sessions, session_end will be fired. It will be fired when the session timeout reaches not immediately when user closes the browser.
Method 2
Handle JS close event, do AJAX call to update the logout time. This method is not reliable as JS can be turned off at client side.
Method 3
Assume your session timeout is 20 minutes. Create a SQL job which periodically checks the table and if the allowed time limit exceeds (current time > login time + 20 minutes) just update the logout time column.
BTW, It is very tough to keep the accurate values in all these methods.
Hope it helps

I have looked at storring the logout time to keep a history, but I do not believe it is possible without javascript.

hello dear,
I have a precompiled website project.
So how can I decompile this precompiled website project to its original source file?
Thanks

Well, if you have the assemblies with you, use reflector[^] to disassemble it. I have seen a plugin for reflector which writes the code to a file. But I don't remember it's name right now.

Care to provide a link so people know what you are talking about?
