Not for All. So dont ask like that.
Ravi_21 wrote: i want to generate the textbox from the code section and after that i want to read the values
This can be done very easily. Did you try it your self ? or want some else do for you.
Read the value from datbase. Create Object of TextBox Class. Add value to the Text property of TextBox.
So first try it , if you stuck anywhere in this steps then ask.

When you have creared those Textbox, you have already given a ID.So read those id and store it in a database table.

Dynamically created textboxes always have issues with viewstate. The best bet, is to just create them statically and instead, show or hide them in code.

When you generate textbox from page load event, ASP.NET won't maintain viewstate for it. You need to create it before viewstate is loaded. I'd suggest to use a GridView with template columns and put your textbox inside the template column. You don't need to worry about the viewstate issues then. To get the textbox values back, loop through all rows and use FindControl() to find the text box from grid.

For that you need a web server . means you need a system on that lan which having a IIS installed and .NET Framework Installed.
Then Publish your web sites and create virtaul directory on IIS.
Give Access Rights
Distribute url to your team . And access it.

Do not need to having IIS on all system. Just need on Server/System where you want to deploy the sites.
Let me know of any Issue...
Good luck !!!

You didn't mentione if the 8 to 10 computers are on a network (LAN). if you you can launch the website in the following easy steps:
1. Compile your website application on your development machine in release mode.
2. Publich the website to some folder say d:\webapps\mywebsite\
3. Make a virtual directory for this folder in IIS, Set Permissions, Give access to Anonymouse user (for other comouters on same network to be able to open the website)
4. Now try to run the website as http://localhost/mywebsite/default.aspx here mywebsite is the virtual directory AND/OR website name (can be same for both)
5. Try to run it as http://YOURMACHINENAME/mywebsite/default.aspx
here replace localhost with YOURMACHINENAME (MYDEVMACHINE)or IP ADDRESS (e.g. 192.168.0.25)
6. Now the other computers on the same network should be able to access the website with URL
http://YOURMACHINENAME/mywebsite/default.aspx
or
http://IPADDRESS/mywebsite/default.aspx
Keep your windows firewall/ antivirus firwall off.

The only PC that needs those things is the server. The other PCs just need IE and access to your server, be it over the web, or via a network.

actually i want to run AutoCad software using the webservice,
bcoz due to few reasons my website hosting server doesnt support the installation of the AutoCad software.
so i installed the software in another server .
and i created a webservice using the IP address of this server.
and i wrriten a method which opens the Autocad Application
but it is not opening
bcoz the webmethod is returns a xml file
|
|
|
|
|
Why did you say Excel then ?
Webservices return XML, what did you expect ? It sounds to me like you're very, very confused. The only place a webservice can start Autocad, is on the server, because only the server is always listening and ready to receive requests.
