Simon,
let us say that my application is run, can i add any plug in or can I run a batch for the same?

Hi,
Let me make a wild guess. When you said "standalone CS file", you actually meant a completely separate application to the one that gets the new button.
Now you are throwing in other terms, plugin and batch. This all sounds a bit random to me and I think that if you can say precisely what it is that you want your programme to do then someone may be able to give you an answer.
Alan.

Q is on another row; he will learn that next year, assuming he passes this year's exams.

hi,
I am using CodeModel apis to parse a CSPROJ (C# project) file.
The VSProject::References API will return all refernces. How to differentiate between Project reference and assembly reference?
Regards,
Manish

I don't know any details, but a quick look in a CSPROJ file shows
assembly references under <Reference> keys while project references
are under <ProjectReference> keys.
Open a CSPROJ file in a text editor - it's XML.

Ditto. Just open up the proj file and examine the contents. The tags are pretty descriptive

Hi,
I am aware that the project references can be identified from CSPROJ file. However, my query was "Is there any code model API which can do this for me"?

Hi! I'm using Select method to return rows from dataset. The problem is when I'm using select method to return using 1 method to return data I'm getting the result but when I'm using 2 method it does not return any value. I tried seaching on Google I could not find any answer for this.
timeStamp>= '08/12/2008 03:16:39' //Returns all rows
timeStamp>= '08/12/2008 03:16:39' And timeStamp<= '08/12/2008 03:16:40' //This returns 0 rows
//objDSVideoFile is a dataset object
1.
The following returns all rows as result
MFilteredRows = objDSVideoFile.Tables("ContextImage").Select("timeStamp>= '" & intStartTime & "' ")
Run time value
timeStamp>= '08/12/2008 03:16:39'
2.
This does not return any row
MFilteredRows = objDSVideoFile.Tables("ContextImage").Select("timeStamp>= '" & intStartTime & "' " & "And timeStamp<= '" & intEndTime & "'")
Run time value
timeStamp>= '08/12/2008 03:16:39' And timeStamp<= '08/12/2008 03:16:40'
I've the (dates) values as given below including these values.
Minimum value à 2008-08-12T03:16:39.468
Maximum value à 2008-08-12T03:16:56.140
Thanks for any help

Hi,
I am writing a windows application and i want to write the code to know weather .net frame work is there or not and i want to know weather iis is installed or not.
after executing my application i want to run on other system with the help of that exe file.
please send any links or code how to know the framework is installed or not and iis is there or not....
the program should run on other also(where there will be no dot net) system with "Exe file". It should prompt the message that framework is not there
|
|
|
|
|
If the framework is not installed, your C# or VB.NET code simply isn't going to run.
As for detecting if IIS is installed, it's easy to find out. Try this[^] first.
|
|
|
|
|
You can also use the installer tool to detect if the framework has been installed and then take actions.
