I am getting an Compilation error.
Compiler Error Message: CS0016: Could not write to output file 'c:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files\eclshoppingcart\1161b4a4\95309ba9\App_Web_master1.master.cdcab7d2.9peohxhg.dll' -- 'Could not execute CVTRES.EXE.'

I made a master page with 12 pages which are inheriting the master page .
Everything was going right.Suddenly this error occured when I EXECUTED THE PAGE.
Is it due to antivirus installed on the system.

I want to make a table dynamically which contain the 5 column and one row. In first column contain checkbox, 2nd column contain serial no, 3rd column contain a text box, 4th column contain a drop down (Items are inserted on runtime from the Access Database) and 5th column contain a textbox.
I want to insert a new row with all same column and same control again and again based on add row button.

Working with dynamic controls is tricky and very tough to get it right. I'd suggest to use a GridView with the required columns. When add row button is clicked, add a new row to the gridview's data source (assume a DataTable) and rebind the gridview.

From browser? Browser will not send timezone information. Your best bet is to get the visitor IP, do a lookup to find from which country it is coming. Choose the time zone depending on the country.

You can use something like GeoIp[^]. I believe they provide an API to find the country.

This is the 3rd time I am posting on this, because did not get my answer before.
I am using a CheckBoxList for convenience, as I have several options. But I notice the CheckBoxList itself is the sender when a checkbox is clicked. So, how do I know which one was clicked?
In older days, CheckBoxes would be put in a group and in the CheckedChanged event handler, we could use the sender to know which one was clicked.
But sorry, I haven't found any property or method for the CheckBoxList control that will provide me with this info thats the first thing to know when using CheckBoxes.

Use the SelectedIndexChanged event, I am pretty sure that the sender on that event is the CheckBox that you want.

You were given the only possible answer. You can know which items are selected, but you'll need to maintain a list of previously selected items, to work out which item was changed.

This still works if you're using forms. There was no such event in ASP.NET, ever.

Hello Christian,
If the CheckBoxList is databound, in the page load, I get the information from the table and bound it with the CheckBoxList - If(!Page.IsPostBack){...}.
Therefore, some boxes appear as selected based on the table data.
Now, when a selected box is clicked - I need to do 2 things - i) know which one was clicked and based on that, ii) delete info from the table and refresh the display based on new info.
The problem - since the CheckBoxList is databound, when a selected one is clicked - if I don't delete that record from the table, the de-selection doesn't work. Even if I maintain a list of selected ones, now with a click if I don't know which one was clicked - I cannot delete it from the table. So maintaining a list here is not helping.
But I am sure you can indicate the right direction.

You have a list, and items that are checked, the user clicks on an item to select which one to delete ? Sounds like you need to rethink your UI.

Yes, like the list displays notification options. The user selects them to be notified when an event occurs. Then later on, user can change mind and de-select one - indicating he/she doesn't want to be notified in that event. Thats why I need to delete it from the table.

I am trying to other user controls within a single control. A couple of them reside in another assembly (AjaxToolkit), and one resides within the assembly I am trying to create. How do you link to these other control to utilize in a composite control. They are all created with the $create method. ANy ideas or documentation would be appreciated.

I'm using VB.net
I successfully created a node, then seconds after, in the same procedure, for reasons not needing explanation here, I want to update an attribute in that node using xmldoc.selectsingle node. But I get a runtime error. In debug mode, the node reads as nothing.
I checked the XML and the node is there and the path in the xmlnode declaration is correct.
I created a seperate page, using only the update portion of the "creation/then update" procedure mentioned above. It works fine!?!?!
The update code is idential in the two procedures. Is there something I am missing that causes the node not to be recognized seconds after created in same procedure. I know it does not make sense but I just cannot understand why I am getting a runtime error in the first procedure.
