Hey, did u c the posts which were posted before mine - better don't post on nerves - check how other users hav posted on the same thread and then think on the issue before putting something on the thread.
If you are no way concerned in a thread look into it before u post - the user who started this argument was clever enough to edit his posts and u are not aware of tht.

I can think of at least a few uses:
DJs would have one track playing out of their monitor speaker and one out of their headphones.
Surround sound systems would need different audio playing from each speaker.
