Check this[^] out, maybe it helps.

Hi everyone
I'm having some trouble solving this problem, if you guys could help I'd appreciate.
A guy has N stores. He just received a shipment of K boxes and wants to distribute the boxes in order to maximize profit. The input is a NxK matrix, where matrix[N][K] tells you the profit he would get, sending K boxes to store N. One wants to know the maximum profit he can get (not necessarily the way he gets it), and how may ways can he get it (number of combinations that totalize the maximum profit).
Any suggestions?
Thx

Hmmm, seems like homework, you'll probably get more help if you post what you have tried and ask specific questions about what you don't understand.

Hi.
I have 3D CAD data. And I would like to create an icon and associate it to my 3D CAD data, so that I can see file view with it's 3D view thumbnail.
Is there any way I can attach/associate icon to existing file?
Thank you for your attention.

I think you have to implement IExtractImage[^] interface to display the thumbnail of your own file. Well, check this article[^] about how to do it.

Jijo.

Hi,
I have a dll which i am registering using regsvr32.exe. I would like to know how can we find out programatically that this dll is registered.
Thanks
SNI

The DllRegisterServer[^] entry-point in the DLL defines what regsvr32 should be setting in the registry. You could write a set of registry query function calls to verify that information has been written correctly?
Alternatively, maybe you could try using the COM object registered by the DLL - if regsvr32 hasn't run correctly, then the COM object won't work.
What's your motivation for doping this, anyway?

Thanks for reply. I would like to check whether perticular DLL gets registered or not before starting my application.

In that case, creating a COM object implemented in the DLL should do the job - that's why you want the DLL (for the COM objects it contains, as it's a DLL registered by regsvr32). If the object creation fails, you know there's something wrong with the DLL or its registration.
