Hi all!
I’m using a WebBrowser control in my program. I initialize it with:
using System.Windows.Forms;
_WB = new WebBrowser();
_WB.Navigate("about:blank");
Then I load an HTML document into it with:
_WB.Document.OpenNew(false);
_WB.Document.Write(HtmlString);
When I check the href of a relative link on a system with IE6 it returns as “about:blank/dir/somepage.htm”, on IE7 it returns as “about:/dir/somepage.htm”.
Right now I’m using
link = link.Replace("about:blank","site").Replace("about:","site");
Is there some way to poll the WebBrowser to see what its using (either “about:blank” or “about:”, or maybe something else completely…)
Thanks!

Hello to all,
I want to conferm that Is it possible to create a 16 bit application in .Net. I need 16 dll or application because I want to create a dll for 16 bit application.
Please help me how to solve this problem.
thanks

I dont know the answer.
But if you go in to the history of VB you might find about how to call 32-bit application from 16-Bit application. This way you can create a .Net app and call it form your 16 bit app.
C isn't that hard: void (*(*f[])())() defines f as an array of unspecified size, of pointers to functions that return pointers to functions that return void

Why do you need to do this ?

No, you can't. If you want to create a 16-bit application you need to have Visual C++ 1.5, or earlier.

No. Use google.

I am populating two buttons at the run time to panel. These buttons can freely move to any position of panel by dragging it. I need to join these buttons by using a line. This line should be move according to the button move. Please Help me to do this

Are you asking someone to code this for you? What have you done so far? Drawing a line requires tow points, pick them and draw the line, update the points when the buttons move.

All you need to do is handle the panels MouseDown, MouseMove and MouseUp along with a paint(I dont remember if it is panel's or form's event) event wisely. And yes you will also need some coordinate geometry.
Good luck.

Has any one been able to display a graphic on a Windows CE 5.0 device that has a transparent background? If so can I take a look at the c# code please? I'm pulling what little hair I have left out!
Thanks,

Why not put it other way. Post what you tried and what is going wrong.

d@nish have you ever gotten anything transparent to work on Windows CE? I've tried transparent gif's, bmp's with a transparent color.
From what I am reading trasnparency is not supported in Windows CE. So I guess I am going to have to use GAPI and do it the hard way but I was hoping someone had some useful hints for me.
Thanks

hi,
Listen, you edit the datasource (that you show in the DGV), you dont edit the DGV.
Edit the datasource, after refresh dgv.

I am did not use the Data Grid View Data Source property to set the data source. According to my requirement i will populate the data to the two combo boxes in data grid view. So i need to remove the entire row when user select the entire row and press delete button

If you don't use DataSource for your grid view then how are you populating it? Manually? Then reconstruct it without the deleted row.

remove a entire row of data? ok, where is the data sql server? xml?
data from the comboboxes? ok. i think you populate at runtime ok, i always have a data source.
listen, i load data (from sgl) in the DGV and i always have a id column in my "tables", so i select a row, press delete button and it triggers a delete row procedure in my database, after a refresh DGV and the row is no more.
So, that what i do.
Better keep asking, merry x-mas

Hi!
I would really appreciate some info about how to compare two image files to see if they are equal, .png files in this case. What techniques are there? Any help appreciated..
And merry coding christmas everybody!

It depends on how you define equal images. You can check if all the pixels are the same but I don't think it has too much sense.
